Design & Construction

Designed around a trimaran aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 20.14m beam and a 4.43m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 2,940 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2015 with the keel laid under the project name 'White Rabbit Golf'. Launched in September 2018 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in October 2018.

Exterior Design

White Rabbit distinguishes itself with a unique exterior that breaks from conventional monohull designs. The vessel's trimaran configuration contributes to a significant beam of 20 meters, offering a substantial interior volume while maintaining a sleek profile.

The hull design of the White Rabbit emphasizes efficiency and performance. The length-to-beam ratio of the central hull stands at 13.7:1, contributing to the yacht's reduced drag and fuel consumption.

White Rabbit carries a contemporary aesthetic with clean lines and a balanced proportion that masks its considerable volume. The vessel's silhouette is characterized by a combination of flared hulls and a modest top deck, which, while contributing to the yacht's overall volume, is designed to avoid an overwhelming presence.

White Rabbit's exterior design features a practical approach to window placement, providing ample natural light. This decision aligns with the yacht's functional ethos, balancing the need for illumination with the desire for privacy and structural integrity.

The vessel's tender storage is situated on the foredeck, with most of the toys and tenders accommodated on a dedicated 51-meter support vessel named Charley. This support vessel also features a large helipad, extending the capabilities and reach of the White Rabbit without compromising its streamlined design.

White Rabbit's design and layout are focused on family use, incorporating spaces that encourage interaction and togetherness, while also providing private sanctuaries for rest and relaxation during long voyages.

Interior Design

Throughout the vessel, one finds extensive use of Tasmanian oak in a checker pattern, a design choice that adds a natural touch to the yacht's saloons and evokes a sense of warmth. Custom-made cabinetry and furniture by Alia Yachts complement the interior, with Turkish craftsmanship on full display.

The main deck serves as the central hub for social interaction, skillfully divided into zones catering to different age groups and activities. The area is subdividable, with a formal lounge on the starboard side and a relaxed, informal space to port. This design supports the owner's vision of a multigenerational space that encourages togetherness while allowing for distinct experiences.

A prominent feature of the main saloon is the bar, complemented by a light column and wall sconces that nod to art deco influences. This space is intended for gathering and entertainment, with a design that facilitates social engagement. The bar area's ceiling boasts an Alice in Wonderland scene rendered in gold leaf.

In the main deck saloon, the checker-style wall paneling of brushed Tasmanian oak is employed throughout, softening the expansive space and adding textural interest. It is complemented by rich, yet restrained color choices that maintain a balance between visual intrigue and an inviting, unpretentious setting.

Accommodation

White Rabbit offers an impressive accommodation layout designed specifically to cater to a large family while maintaining a corporate function when necessary. The yacht has an expansive guest capacity, comfortably housing up to 30 guests within a variety of staterooms. The configuration of guest quarters includes two master suites, three VIP staterooms, and six additional guest cabins.

The owner's suite is prominently located on the main deck to keep close to the heart of activity. A secondary master suite is found on the lower deck, offering an alternative space for the owner with a unique underwater experience due to its location within the central hull. This cabin provides a view of the tunnel between the center hull and the starboard outrigger, creating a distinctive ambiance.

Guest cabins are designed with practicality in mind, reflecting the owner's directive for guests to live out of their suitcases during short cruises, resulting in minimal to no wardrobe space in certain accommodations on the upper deck. Despite this, the guest spaces are furnished with benches to facilitate comfort and convenience.

In addition to the guest accommodations, White Rabbit ensures a high standard of living for the crew with well-appointed crew quarters. A total of 32 crew members are accommodated, enjoying substantial living spaces located forward on the main deck. This area includes a spacious cafeteria-like mess and crew lounge.

Performance & Capabilities

White Rabbit employs a diesel-electric system with generators located in the outer hulls. These generators power STADT electric motors housed in the center hull, which in turn drive two Rolls-Royce variable pitch propellers.

In terms of engine specifications, White Rabbit is equipped with an array of six generators, consisting of four Caterpillar C32 units producing 940ekW each, and two C18 units outputting 550ekW each. A Kongsberg power management system manages the generators, optimizing their operation for various cruising conditions.

White Rabbit's top speed reaches 18.7 knots, with a notable reduction in required power compared to similar-sized vessels.

The trimaran design also contributes to the vessel's ability to cruise comfortably with minimal disturbance. Naiad fins, totaling 45 square meters, extend from the center hull to stabilize the yacht, improving the ride comfort by mitigating roll and enhancing buoyancy.

Range is another area where White Rabbit excels. With a fuel capacity of 166,200 liters, the yacht can confidently embark on extended voyages with a range of 5,000 nautical miles. This is achieved while carrying significantly less fuel than comparable monohulls, which not only reduces weight and enhances performance but also frees up space for other uses.

Amenities

A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. For the ultimate relaxation experience, the yacht plays host to a luxury spa. Full cinema facilities ensure five-star entertainment while a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort, while underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck.
