The Codecasa Jet 2020 is completely unique to any new yacht ever created and is currently scheduled to begin construction within the next four months.
Set to become the shipyard's new flagship vessel, the Jet 2020 is considered to be an exploration and adventure yacht with dual tender storage amidships plus a fully certified helipad aft.
Celebrated as 'breaking the mould' by the Codecasa shipyard, there is no doubt from initial renderings that the inspiration truly is from the aviation industry. Either end of the superstructure has been created to resemble the nose and tail of an aircraft, with air inlets and radar antennas completing the look.
Many details of the Jet 2020 are still to be confirmed by the yard at later stages of the construction process, but initial feedback describes a sea level beach club which is accessed by a lift that also has direct entry to a skylounge with wraparound glazing. A second lift is also to be installed to connect the three decks together.
Exteriors appear to be spacious with the shipyard quoting a 20 metre sundeck complete with swimming pool and sheltered gym facility.
Overnight accommodation is reported to have a five cabin layout, with the four guest cabins situated on the lower deck plus the owner's suite on the forward maindeck, also taking advantage of the bow space.
Up on the bridge deck, the captain's cabin is sensibly located adjacent to the pilothouse.
