Incat Crowther has unveiled plans for 24m (78ft) ‘Project Elysium’, a custom designed catamaran with a focus on socializing.
Featuring strong input from the client, Project Elysium makes the most of the voluminous deck space multihull yachts offer with a host of entertainment and relaxation areas.
A full-beam saloon provides 360-degree views and large outdoor living spaces and there is a capable upper deck with room for a 5.6m (18.5ft) and 3.6m (11.9ft) tender. Also on the upper deck is a spacious wheelhouse with a lounge that can accommodate up to five people.
The galley and dining area opens into the back deck, where there is seating for eight people and a large barbeque with a serving area. Another key feature is a lifting swimming platform that doubles up as a fishing deck.
Accommodation wise the motor yacht features a main deck master cabin and four further cabins in the hulls. Designed to be used in a tropical climate, there is also a multi-zone air conditioning system throughout.
Power comes from twin 1150hp Scania DI-16 engines that provide a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 21 knots.
Project Elysium sports an aluminum hull and composite superstructure and is due to be delivered to her owner in 2023. Details of the yard set to build the yacht have not yet been released.
Australian-based naval architect firm Incat Crowther was the team behind the 66m (216.5ft) support vessel HODOR, built by Astilleros Armon, and winner of a World Superyacht Award in 2020 for Best Support Vessel.
