Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 9.4m beam and a 2.76m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 456 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2007. This was the thirteenth yacht built on the Vision 145' design. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in February 2010.

Exterior Design

Alegria's large swim platform and garage can double as a beach club when water toys are in use. Wide side decks on both port and starboard sides offer easy access to different parts of the yacht. The aft deck is equipped with built-in seating, a table, and loose chairs, accommodating up to 12 people for dining or relaxing. From the main deck aft, stairs lead directly to the bridge deck’s lounging area.

The sundeck offers a versatile space for various activities. It includes a large Jacuzzi that seats eight adults, a dining table for ten, a bar equipped with an ice maker, sink, and refrigerator, and a built-in forward-facing settee with cocktail tables. Two large umbrellas and a canopy provide shade.

The aft bridge deck features a main dining table with glass doors that can open 270 degrees to the outside, providing an adaptable environment for dining in different weather conditions. A built-in settee with cocktail tables offers additional seating.

Interior Design

Alegria’s interior incorporates luxurious Italian marble, leather, and wood finishes. These materials are chosen for their durability and aesthetic appeal. The marble is prominently featured in bathrooms and heads, providing a clean and elegant look. Leather is used extensively in seating areas, adding both comfort and a touch of sophistication. Wood accents complement the overall design, offering warmth and a classic nautical feel.

The galley is designed for efficiency and practicality. Located on the main deck port side mid-ship, it features commercial-grade appliances suitable for preparing any meal. The layout includes a serving pantry, which houses a staircase leading up to the skylounge pantry and a dumbwaiter that services three decks. The galley also has easy access to the main salon and an exterior door, facilitating smooth operations for the crew.

The helm is positioned forward of the bridge deck with a workstation and a large settee. It is equipped with the latest navigation and control systems, ensuring safety and ease of operation. The layout allows for efficient communication between the captain and crew, with direct access to the bridge deck and the Captain's cabin located just aft of the bridge.

The main salon, entered from the aft deck, features double electric stainless steel-framed sliding glass doors. The aft salon area includes a large L-shaped bar with stools, followed by the main seating area with comfortable leather sofas, a coffee table, and side tables. A centerline credenza separates the seating area from the entertainment lounge, creating distinct spaces for relaxation and socializing. The forward port side of the lounge offers access to the pantry and galley, while the forward starboard side leads to the guest foyer and main staircase.

The skylounge on the bridge deck is accessible via internal and external staircases. It includes a bar equipped with a refrigerator and ice maker, a game table with chairs, and a leather sofa. The area is designed for entertainment, with a pantry that includes a dumbwaiter, microwave, and sink. Sliding glass doors open to an alfresco dining area capable of seating twelve, adaptable for all-weather use.

Accommodation

Situated on the main deck forward, the owner's suite features 180-degree forward-facing views. The suite includes a private exterior lounge and sunbed area. The master stateroom comes with dual bathrooms—his head on the starboard side with a shower and bidet, and her head on the port side with an extra-large bath with Jacuzzi jets, makeup vanity, and bidet. Both bathrooms are finished in Italian marble. The suite also includes a large walk-through wardrobe and a smaller walk-in wardrobe. Adjacent to the master bedroom is a private office equipped with a desk, chairs, TV, and storage.

Located on the lower deck, the guest accommodation includes four staterooms. The aft section features two identical VIP suites with queen-sized beds, entertainment systems, and large port lights. The VIP bathrooms are fitted with showers, bidets, and Italian marble finishes. Forward on the lower deck are two twin bed suites, each with a Pullman berth. These suites also include a desk and entertainment systems. The bathrooms are equipped with showers, bidets, Italian marble finishes, and large port lights for natural lighting.

Alegria is designed to ensure the crew can provide the highest level of service. There is accommodation for up to 11 crew members. Located aft of the pilothouse on the starboard side, the captain's quarters feature a queen-size bed, bathroom with shower, and an A/V entertainment system.

The crew area includes five cabins, each with over-under berths to accommodate a total of ten crew members. The crew quarters are equipped with four bathrooms, with the two forward cabins sharing one bathroom. Additionally, there is a crew lounge with an L-shaped seating area for meals and relaxation.
