A host of the world’s most spectacular yachts are set to return to the sparkling setting of Dubai Harbour in March as the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) returns in 2023.
As ever the Show offers a breathtaking array of luxury products, encompassing not just jaw-dropping superyachts, but also stunning supercars and some of the latest high-tech toys and gadgets on the market.
It is, however, the yachts that are the main attraction and many of the world’s leading builders will among the 800+ global brands in attendance. The ‘superyacht avenue’ is always a hive of activity with a presence from yards such as Feadship, Sanlorenzo and Gulf Craft. But there is always much more besides, with yachts on display ranging from sleek sports yachts to majestic catamarans and everything in between.
Upwards of 25,000 attend the show each year, and there is much to keep visitors entertained across the five-day event. For dive lovers, the Dive MENA expo will be a must, with a series of talks and demonstrations, whilst the watersports arena is the perfect place to give activities like kayaking and paddleboarding a go. For any would-be fisherman, visitors can even take part in the Dubai Fishing Championships.
As you might expect in such illustrious surroundings there are a series of premium retail outlets close by showcasing everything from luxury watches to sea-inspired art. DIBS also hosts the Middle East Yachting Conference, a varied program of expert speakers on a range of subjects.
Fantastic food, drink and live entertainment are also in abundance at the family-orientated Show that never fails to delight.
