Designed by Espen Øino with interiors by François Zuretti, this custom-built yacht represents Benetti’s largest-ever engineering-platform-based vessel. Burgess has played a key advisory role, ensuring optimal technical, operational, and commercial functionality.
A Vision of Life on the Water
Project Life's design focuses mainly on outdoor living, which can be seen in the sleek, elegant exterior lines and the expansive 270-square-metre beach club. This space is open on three sides, connecting the indoor lounge with a large swim platform. Two 14-metre fold-down side doors also create better access to the sea. Above, a glass-bottomed swimming pool allows natural light to filter into the beach club, creating a unique aquatic atmosphere.
The main deck of the yacht features an 18-square-metre pool, complemented by a bar and lounge area designed for relaxed socializing.
The bridge deck aft is an open-air dining space, equipped with a live-cooking setup, allowing guests to engage with the chef in a dynamic setting. The upper foredeck also offers panoramic 270-degree views, a helipad, a secluded Jacuzzi, and comfortable lounging areas.
Interiors Designed for Oceanfront Living
Zuretti Design has focused on creating a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The 112-square-metre main saloon features floor-to-ceiling windows which maximises ocean views. Thoughtfully curated lighting keeps the atmosphere refined yet relaxed. The forward main deck accommodates six guest staterooms, each designed to provide natural light and striking seascapes.
The 98-square-metre owner’s suite includes an adjacent flexible space, which can be used as a private office or personalised retreat. A glass-enclosed skylounge extends the owner's living space, offering a tranquil setting to enjoy the ocean’s sights and sounds.
Sustainability and Technological Advancements
Project Life is also being designed to improve both its efficiency and sustainability. Its diesel-electric propulsion system, with pod propulsion, creates better maneuverability while reducing emissions. The yacht is also capable of operating on non-fossil fuels such as HVO. An advanced HVAC system reduces energy consumption by up to 60%, while integrated solar panels generate clean energy to recharge electric tenders and water toys.
