As the seventh hull in the Amels 60 series, this 60m superyacht marks a key milestone ahead of her delivery, which is scheduled for early summer 2025.
After emerging from the shed earlier this year, the Amels 6007 has now entered open water for the first time. These sea trials will put her systems, handling and performance to the test, confirming her readiness before handover to her owner.

The design of the Amels superyacht carries the same clean, modern profile that has become a hallmark of the Amels 60 series, created by Espen Øino International. Below the waterline, Damen Yachting’s in-house naval architecture ensures a stable, efficient platform. Amels 6007 has a top speed of 15.5 knots and cruises comfortably at 13 knots, powered by twin MTU engines.
Interior Vision by Harrison Eidsgaard
This superyacht also marks the first collaboration between Amels and London-based design studio Harrison Eidsgaard, who were responsible for the full interior concept. The result is a warm and contemporary interpretation of “beach house luxury”, with sandy tones, natural textures and a strong emphasis on light and space. The main saloon features large windows that maximise sea views and natural light.

Accommodation onboard the motor yacht is spread across six en suite guest cabins, with room for up to 12 guests. The owner’s suite, situated on the main deck, includes a private balcony - a signature feature of the series that enhances the indoor-outdoor connection. Crew quarters cater for 12, plus a dedicated captain’s cabin.
Lifestyle and Layout
Onboard highlights include a spacious beach club with a full dive centre, an extended sundeck introduced on an earlier hull, and multiple outdoor lounging areas designed for both relaxation and entertainment. A lower deck gym and sauna add to the comfort-focused layout of the yacht.

With a gross tonnage of 853 GT and 335 square metres of interior space, Amels 6007 has been customised to meet the owner’s preferences.

Yacht consultants Rory and Sean Moran of Moran Yacht & Ship oversaw the project and represented the owner throughout the build.
An Expanding Fleet
Alongside the Amels 60 series, the yard is also progressing with multiple builds in the Amels 80 line. The Amels 80 is the newest addition to the Limited Editions range, offering a larger platform with a length of 80 metres and an interior volume of 2,175 GT.

Designed for ocean-going capability and maximum efficiency, it features naval architecture by Damen Yachting and exterior design by Espen Øino.
As the seventh Amels 60 completes her sea trials, she moves one step closer to delivery, ready to begin her life at sea.
