The name PLVS VLTRA, derived from the Latin phrase meaning "further beyond," embodies the owner's relentless pursuit of perfection. Historically, the phrase "nec plus ultra" ("nothing further beyond") was inscribed near the ancient Pillars of Hercules at the Straits of Gibraltar, symbolizing the boundary of the known world. PLVS VLTRA, in contrast, represents the aspiration to go beyond those limits.
Currently, Plvs Vltra is nearing the end of a multi-million-euro refit in Dubai. Accommodation for up to 12 guests is available in six cabins. The lower deck houses an impressive spa with a pool, massage area, Hammam, bar, and sauna, complemented by a fold-down balcony to starboard.
On deck, the aft swimming pool offers counter-current jets and nearby sun loungers. Powered by two diesel engines, Plvs Vltra can reach a top speed of 16.5 knots and cruises at 12.5 knots with a range of 5,000 nautical miles. She meets MCA compliance and holds Lloyd's registration.
Plvs Vltra received recognition at the 2017 Asia Boating Awards, where she won the award for Best Semi-Custom Built Yacht (above 120ft). This accolade reflects the craftsmanship and appeal that continue to define Amels yachts. In 2024, Amels sold 12 yachts, highlighting their strong market presence.
