Heesen Launches 55m Steel Superyacht Project Agnetha Set for 2025 Delivery

The superyacht Project Agnetha, the newest yacht in the Heesen 55m Steel Class, has officially been launched and is scheduled for delivery later this year.

With a gross tonnage of 760GT, this full-displacement Heesen yacht pairs a proven technical platform with updated exterior styling and a warm, classic interior

Project Agnetha’s lines come from Omega Architects, with Frank Laupman updating the profile to include broad tinted windows and sharp, horizontal detailing. A ‘shark tooth’ motif on the wheelhouse overhang and a pillar-free superstructure at the aft end keep the design clean and modern, with uninterrupted views from the sky lounge and main deck dining area.

Her hull is based on Heesen’s Fast Displacement design, developed for both efficiency and comfort. Twin MTU 8V4000 M63 engines push her to a top speed of 15.5 knots, while her long-range cruising credentials make her suitable for blue-water exploration.

Mark Cavendish, Heesen’s Chief Commercial Officer, described the superyacht for sale as the result of years of refinement. "The beauty of buying this kind of superyacht is that the shipyard has taken care of all the technical aspects. The platform has been perfected based on feedback from brokers, owners and captains. So when clients come in, they can focus on the fun part—making the yacht truly theirs.”

Interior design onboard the motor yacht for sale is by Luca Dini Design and Architecture. The brief was to create a traditional, welcoming environment with soft tones and a relaxed, homely atmosphere—aimed at owners planning long stays on board or frequent charters.

Heesen CEO Niels Vaessen added that the 55m Steel Class shows how far the yard has come in optimising construction processes. “Over the past decade, we’ve developed and refined this platform to offer shorter delivery timelines, extensive customisation and a high standard of Dutch craftsmanship,” he said. “Today, we lead the market in the 50 to 57-metre segment.”

Project Agnetha is on the market with Heesen and is currently asking €56,900,000.

Project Agnetha’s launch follows the delivery of Serena, Heesen’s first superyacht handed over in 2025—also a 55-metre Steel Class yacht—marking a strong start to the year for the Dutch shipyard.
