Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.6m beam and a 2.85m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 760 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in August 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Heesen's Oss yard in Netherlands where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Exterior Design
Serena features a bold and assertive exterior design highlighted by larger windows and longer horizontal lines, with a classic white hull and black pinstripe & bootstrap. The yacht's profile is characterized by a raked bow and three cascading aft decks, giving it a dynamic and aggressive look.
The aft deck includes crew stairways and a seating area sheltered by an overhang. The sundeck is extended, offering additional space for seating, a bar, and a spa. The bridge deck provides informal aft seating raised above any marina or quay, along with a large al fresco dining table. This deck also allows easy access to the upper saloon.
The main deck windows are significantly larger, providing enhanced views and natural light. The upper deck follows suit with continuous swaths of tinted glass from fore to aft.
Interior Design
Light-tone woods, such as smoked eucalyptus, are used extensively, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Bronze metal accents, soft fabrics, and leather elements further enhance the interior spaces, providing a homely feel.
The main saloon is organized into three distinct areas. A bronze-finished bar, located near the sliding doors, serves both the lounge area and the main deck aft terrace, facilitating an easy indoor-outdoor transition. The sky lounge serves as the central hub for social activities and entertainment. It features a hammered bronze bar, a games table, and comfortable seating arrangements suitable for movie-watching, reading, or general relaxation.
The three-level atrium serves as the central hub for accessing different decks. Decorated with light fixtures made from blown glass and metal by designer John Pomp, the atrium is visually engaging. Chevron-patterned wood panels enhance the vertical surfaces in the atrium and lobbies. Amazonite marble inlays provide elegant and colorful accents.
The beach club, illuminated by natural light through two glass portholes, is designed to resemble a waterside salotto. The sauna within the beach club area has been upgraded with a larger glass door and elegant wood finishes.
Accommodation
Serena offers comfortable and luxurious accommodations for up to 12 guests in five well-appointed cabins. The owner's suite, situated on the main deck forward, features a spacious lounge and office area, a full-beam cabin with a private french balcony, and two large walk-in closets. The suite also includes a grand bathroom, providing an exclusive and private retreat for the owners.
On the lower deck, Serena houses four guest staterooms, each uniquely designed. Two of these rooms are doubles with beds placed athwartship to optimize walking space, while the other two are twin cabins equipped with additional Pullman beds. Each guest stateroom boasts a private en-suite bathroom with unique marble, featuring different colors for each room to add a touch of individuality.
For additional flexibility, the bridge deck includes a gym that can be converted into an extra cabin if necessary, catering to the needs of larger groups or families.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (8V 4000 M63) 746hp engines, motor yacht Serena is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 100,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots.
