Arkadia is a 50m motor yacht delivered by Dutch shipyard Heesen in 2021. She features exterior design by Clifford Denn and interior styling by Reymond Langton Design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.6m beam and a 2.75m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 498 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2017 with the keel laid under the project name 'Triton'. This was the second yacht built on the 50m Steel design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in February 2020 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2021.
Exterior Design
Her exterior, penned by the talented Clifford Denn, presents a robust and stylish silhouette that captures the essence of luxury and a spirit of adventure. The yacht's formidable appearance, characterized by its masculine lines and sturdy design, makes a statement whether docked or cutting through the open seas.
The vessel's dimensions, with a nine-metre beam and a length of 50 metres, were expertly measured to ensure Arkadia remained under the 500GT threshold, a feat achieved through clever design choices. The bow's elegant taper and the substantial wave breaker serve both aesthetic and functional purposes, reducing interior volume to comply with tonnage regulations while also improving forward sightlines for the captain.
One of the yacht's standout features is the expansive sundeck, where Denn's ingenuity is prominently displayed. The open design of this area allows for maximum enjoyment of the outdoors without contributing to the gross tonnage. This deck is well-appointed with a gym featuring state-of-the-art equipment, a bar, sunpads, a spa pool, and a lounging area. The space is adaptable, with a hardtop amidships providing shelter and awnings fore and aft for optional shade. A removable carbon davit cleverly facilitates the reconfiguration of the deck's layout, ensuring the sundeck remains a versatile space for relaxation or entertainment.
Arkadia's exterior design introduces an innovative glass panel that encloses the forward end of the hardtop. This feature elegantly provides wind protection, enhancing the comfort of guests using the outdoor gym, without impacting the vessel's gross tonnage. The thoughtful inclusion of trawler-style windows on the bridge below also addresses practical concerns such as reducing glare and avoiding rain intrusion.
The exterior design of Arkadia has been further optimized for an active family, with ample storage for an impressive array of water toys and tenders. The yacht accommodates everything from a beachlander dinghy to a MasterCraft wakesurf boat, jet skis, canoes, SUPs, bikes, kites, and diving equipment, not to mention the water slide and inflatable beach and pool for children. Interior Design
Reymond Langton has selected a palette of muted natural colors that evoke a sense of calm and sophistication. The contrasting tones and textures of light Tanganyika wood and dark American walnut, coupled with luxurious materials such as crema Marfil marble and Brown Armani, create an atmosphere of refined elegance. Bronze and velvet wool carpets cover the floors, while the walls and ceiling panels are adorned with veneers, natural leather, and Maiilite's durable patterned faux leather, all meticulously finished to Heesen's exacting standards.
The design philosophy extends into the shared spaces where guests come together. The main salon is a showcase of the design elements that define Arkadia's interior – an abundance of natural light, an uncluttered furniture layout, and panoramic views that can be enjoyed through the large windows and from the Fendi dining table, positioned against glass bulwarks for an enhanced sense of openness. The result is a bright and calming space that invites relaxation and social interaction.
To complement the yacht's physical beauty, strategic use of soft indirect LED lighting strips has been implemented throughout the vessel. These hidden light sources create atmospheric layers that add a cozy and relaxing ambiance, capable of being adapted to suit any occasion.
In the sky lounge bar, the bronze frame of a decorative panel by the owner's office, and under the beds, the lighting serves both a functional and aesthetic purpose, enhancing the artistry of the yacht's interior architecture.
Accommodation
Arkadia accommodates up to 12 guests within her elegant confines, ensuring an intimate and exclusive yachting experience. The yacht features a full-beam master suite located on the main deck, a sanctuary that promises serene privacy and panoramic views.
