Launched from the builder’s Viareggio facility, the eleventh Mangusta GranSport 33 is set to cruise the Mediterranean under the ownership of an Italian client.
At 33m, this yacht marks the entry point of the GranSport series, but its design and performance place it firmly among serious cruising vessels. Created in collaboration with Alberto Mancini Yacht Design and Overmarine’s technical team, the model captures the Mangusta spirit of speed, volume, and comfort.
A Spacious Design with Expansive Views
The flybridge design of the motor yacht leans heavily into a sporty, flowing aesthetic, with panoramic glass stretching across both main and lower decks. The emphasis on openness ensures natural light floods the interior, while offering sweeping ocean views from almost every angle.

Outdoor areas have been designed with relaxation and connection to the sea in mind. The 56-square-metre sundeck flows into the forward section of the yacht, where guests will find a striking infinity pool and a large sunbathing area. The layout promotes easy movement between spaces, encouraging time spent outdoors whether at anchor or underway.

Inside, the Mangusta GranSport 33 offers accommodation for up to 12 guests across five staterooms. The main deck is home to a spacious 40-square-metre owner’s suite, while two VIP and two guest cabins sit below. Thanks to a generous gross tonnage of 230GT, guests are treated to large, comfortable living spaces throughout.

Powered by four Volvo Penta 735kW (1,000hp) engines paired with IPS pod drives, the Mangusta GranSport 33 reaches a top speed of 25 knots. The propulsion system not only delivers strong performance but also enhances manoeuvrability and fuel efficiency, supporting longer voyages with greater comfort.
Strong Demand Across Mangusta’s Key Models
Mangusta's order book currently includes 25 yachts across its core ranges; among the models in build is the Mangusta 165 REV, a 50-metre Maxi Open yacht designed with Lobanov Design. With a profile inspired by 1930s sports cars, it delivers sleek styling, a top speed of 34 knots, and standout features such as a convertible-style beach lounge.

Also under construction is the Mangusta 104 REV, a 32-metre sports yacht noted for its flowing lines and award-winning design. It has been particularly well-received in the American market and offers a fresh interpretation of the brand’s classic style.

The steel and aluminium Mangusta Oceano 44, meanwhile, caters to long-distance cruising with a range of 4,500 nautical miles. Designed with a strong indoor-outdoor connection and a family-focused layout, it brings a different dimension to the Mangusta portfolio.

The shipyard's strong order book and the launch of the eleventh hull underline the ongoing success of this model within the wider Mangusta fleet, as Overmarine Group continues to develop both the GranSport line and larger models such as the GranSport 54.
