YachtBuyer’s Market Watch reports that there are currently 2 Fairline Targa 40 yachts listed for sale globally, with prices spanning a wide range due to generational differences and features. First generation models (Mk1, 2000 - 2007) are the most affordable, priced at €179k. Pricing trends for the Fairline Targa 40 over the past three years have varied across its two generations, influenced by factors such as demand, condition, and features. The first generation models have the longest average time on the market, sitting for about 1068 days, suggesting lower demand for the older features, and on average, they end up 1.79% lower than their initial asking price. On average, the second generation models remain on the market for the shortest duration—around 7 days—unsurprising due to their more modern features and updated styling but they don't tend to need to lower the price in order to sell.
Fairline started development on the Targa 40 in 2000 and the first model rolled off the production line in 2004. The second generation was launched in 2023 and saw its World Debut at Boot Düsseldorf the 2 years later.
