Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and a steel/aluminium superstructure she features a 22'8" beam and a 6'7" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 172 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Alhambra's lines are timeless, with a strong, well-proportioned profile that commands respect on the water. The hull, bearing hull number 600, showcases a traditional Feadship style, with a clean, uncluttered look that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
On deck, Alhambra's updates are evident, particularly on the sundeck where modifications have created a spacious and versatile outdoor living area. The relocation of the tenders to the forward part of the yacht has freed up space aft, allowing for the addition of a teppanyaki grill, ample seating, and a dedicated dining area. The sundeck also features a cinema setup for evening entertainment and a double-sided bar, making it a central hub for social activities on board.
Alhambra's exterior also boasts a classic canoe stern, which adds to her distinctive profile and provides additional space below deck.
Interior Design
Rich, dark wood paneling is a prominent feature throughout the vessel, offering a traditional nautical ambiance that is both inviting and enduring. This is complemented by soft lighting fixtures that enhance the warm tones of the woodwork without overwhelming the senses. The use of Turkish marble in the bathrooms adds a touch of sophistication and durability.
In the main salon, guests will find a spacious area that is well-suited for socializing and relaxation. The dining area within the salon is thoughtfully arranged to foster intimate gatherings, with comfortable seating that encourages leisurely meals and conversation. The lighting here is designed to be adaptable, providing the right atmosphere for different times of the day and various social functions.
The helm of Alhambra is a statement of purpose and efficiency. It is equipped with modern navigational instruments set against the backdrop of classic design elements, offering the captain and crew a workspace that is both practical and in keeping with the yacht's overall aesthetic.
The galley features high-quality appliances and surfaces that facilitate meal preparation. It is strategically positioned to allow for efficient service to both the crew and guests, and its direct access to the engine room underscores the thoughtful design that prioritizes ease of movement and operational efficiency aboard the yacht.
Accommodation
Alhambra accommodates 10 guests in a configuration of five suites, thoughtfully designed to provide comfort and privacy.
The owner's suite is situated on the lower deck. This full-beam cabin offers ample space and is designed for the utmost in privacy and comfort. Additionally, the VIP cabin provides a space that can be easily converted to suit the needs of guests, whether they require additional sleeping quarters or a private study.
Guest accommodation also includes a double cabin located in the canoe stern area, providing a unique and serene retreat. The conversion from a twin to a double setup during the latest refit has enhanced the layout of this cabin, allowing for more versatile use of space.
Two twin cabins on the main deck offer additional sleeping arrangements for guests. These cabins are designed with attention to detail, ensuring a restful and enjoyable stay for all aboard.
Crew quarters have been arranged to accommodate six members in three cabins. This ensures that a professional and attentive service team is always on hand to cater to the needs of guests and maintain the yacht’s standards of excellence.
Performance & Capabilities
The twin diesel GM (16v71n) engines, each producing 483 horsepower, propel the yacht to a commendable top speed of 14 knots. This allows for efficient travel between destinations, providing both charter guests and private owners with the ability to explore a variety of locations within a given timeframe.
The cruising speed of Alhambra is set at a comfortable 12 knots. The yacht's fuel capacity of 29,400 liters affords her a considerable range which is especially important for extended voyages. With the ability to cover up to 2,879 nautical miles at a consistent speed of 13 knots, Alhambra is well-suited for long-distance cruising, opening up a vast array of travel possibilities.
Amenities
Alhambra also features an inviting spread of sunpads.
