The award winning 31.2m motor yacht Saint V was delivered to her owners in 2020 by Alpha Custom Yachts. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Giorgio M. Cassetta, while Laurent Giles is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.15m beam and a 1.7m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 210 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2019. She was delivered to her owners in August 2020.

Exterior Design

The Spritz 102 model's design is distinguished by its strikingly wide beam, measuring an extraordinary 8.1 metres. This feature is exceptionally rare for a yacht of Saint V's length and contributes to an increased sense of spaciousness and stability.

The yacht's exterior spaces are crafted to perfection, offering guests an array of options for relaxation and entertainment. The tiered aft deck features a central 2,000-litre plunge pool, around which the social life of the yacht revolves. This innovative pool can be cleverly covered with teak to transform into a dance floor, providing a versatile space for any occasion. Adjacent to the pool, an outdoor lounge presents a welcoming area for guests to enjoy the panoramic views, while the dining area is amply sized to accommodate up to 12 guests in a well-protected setting.

Moreover, the foredeck houses an additional lounge area, perfect for intimate gatherings or simply enjoying the serenity of the open water. The yacht's flybridge is a crowning glory, offering an expansive 76 square metres of space that boasts panoramic views and an unmistakable feeling of openness, further elevating the onboard experience.

The fusion of innovative design, expansive living spaces, and bespoke finishing touches makes the interior of Saint V an exemplar within the world of luxury yachting. It is a space that must be seen and experienced firsthand to fully appreciate the meticulous craftsmanship and sophisticated elegance that define its essence.

Interior Design

The interior of Saint V manifests a seamless blend of elegance and functionality, crafted to mirror the sophistication of a Miami villa while delivering an exceptional standard of comfort for those on board. Each design choice has been meticulously made to enhance the yachting experience, offering a sense of luxury that is both palpable and practical.

The commitment to comfort extends to the heights of the ceilings, which stand at an extraordinary 2.2 metres, creating an airy and open atmosphere. This sense of space is further amplified by the extensive use of sound insulation and floating floors, which not only contribute to the tranquility of the yacht but also add a layer of privacy and seclusion.

The aesthetics of the interior are characterized by a modern and sophisticated palette, complemented by custom copper paint accents that elevate the yacht's design. The attention to detail is evident in the full-sized showers, expansive closets, and the gentle, wide stairs that facilitate effortless movement between decks. Designer Paola Aboumrad's finishing touches are evident throughout, from the home-sized furnishings to the relaxed and inviting decor that fosters the ambiance of a leisurely holiday retreat.

Accommodation

Saint V presents an impressive layout for guest accommodation, featuring a total of five exquisitely designed cabins on the lower deck. The yacht is engineered to comfortably house its eight guests without any compromise on personal space, ensuring a serene and private experience for all on board.

The pride of Saint V is the full-beam owner's suite, a testament to the yacht's commitment to opulence and comfort. The suite boasts oversized windows that sit less than half a meter above the waterline, providing guests with breathtaking views and the sensation of floating on the ocean. This innovative design brings an abundance of natural light into the space, enhancing the cabin's airy and expansive feel.

In addition to the luxurious owner's suite, Saint V features beautifully appointed VIP cabins, adorned with king-sized beds that accentuate the spaciousness afforded by the yacht's exceptional 8.1-meter beam. This extraordinary width is rare for a yacht of Saint V's length, and it grants guests an abundance of room to move freely and comfortably within their private quarters.

The yacht also caters to guests who may prefer twin cabins, which are thoughtfully designed with beds that are a full one meter wide, ensuring a restful and comfortable stay. Attention to detail is evident in each cabin, with generous bathroom sizes and ample amenities that contribute to a lavish and indulgent experience.

The meticulous planning of Saint V’s accommodations extends to the crew quarters, where the living spaces are designed with elevated beds and other features that provide a crew of up to four with the comfort necessary to maintain the highest level of service for guests.

Performance & Capabilities

At the heart of the Saint V's remarkable performance lie her twin 1,000hp Caterpillar C12.9 engines. These powerful yet efficient engines are a testament to the yacht's engineering excellence, ensuring smooth sailing across the seas. The selection of the Caterpillar C12.9 engine model reflects a balance between robust power and fuel efficiency. With an average fuel consumption of 100 liters per hour, Saint V achieves not only a graceful cruising speed of 12 to 13 knots but also boasts an impressive range of up to 3,000 nautical miles. Such capability allows extensive exploration without frequent refueling stops.

Saint V's hull design, characterized by its sleek straight bow, plays a pivotal role in facilitating efficient water entry and maintaining speed with relatively modest power output. This design choice not only contributes to the yacht's performance at sea but also reflects a commitment to a smooth and stable cruising experience.

The yacht's draft, averaging around 1.9 meters, is indicative of a thoughtful design that prioritizes both performance and access to shallower coastal areas. The wide beam of 8.1 meters, exceptional for a yacht of this length, not only maximizes interior space but also enhances stability at sea. Such a wide beam is rarely found in yachts of comparable size, where the beam is typically at least one meter narrower.

While Saint V's performance is impressive, comfort is not sacrificed for speed. The yacht features extensive sound insulation and floating floors, reducing vibration and noise for a serene journey. The installation of a hydraulically operated platform, capable of supporting a tender, adds to the yacht's functional capabilities, ensuring ease of access to the water for various activities.

Saint V's commitment to luxury and style is evident in every aspect of its design, from the custom copper paint accents at the waterline to the radar domes, all contributing to the yacht's aesthetic appeal. The attention to detail and dedication to creating an environment of opulence and comfort make Saint V a remarkable example of modern yacht design.
