Design & Construction

Designed around a modified v-hull GRP hull and superstructure she features a 5.79m beam and a 1.8m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 92 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the thirty-fourth yacht built on the Azimut 80 Carat design.

Exterior Design

Azure features a practical and functional exterior design that caters to both leisure and operational needs. Starting at the aft deck, the area is equipped with a seating arrangement suitable for dining or casual gatherings. A cooler is conveniently located on the starboard aft, providing ample storage for beverages. The deck itself is made of teak ensuring durability and a clean appearance.

Moving forward on the starboard side, the bow area includes additional seating. This space is surrounded by waist-high handrails, enhancing safety while allowing guests to enjoy the sun or night skies. The varnished cap rails add a subtle touch to the overall design.

On the port side, the teak decking continues, accompanied by another non-skid surface. A wing station provides easy access for both crew and guests, facilitating smooth movement throughout the vessel.

The flybridge is another key feature, equipped with a davit crane for lifting a tender or jet ski. A custom bunny pad offers a comfortable lounging area. The flybridge also includes updated navigation equipment with a Garmin package, as well as practical amenities such as a freshwater sink, ice maker, and drink coolers.

Interior Design

The interior design of Azure is both functional and stylish, employing high-quality materials and a thoughtful layout to enhance the onboard experience. The main salon area serves as the primary entertainment space, featuring wraparound seating on either side and a television that lifts up for convenience. This area is designed for relaxation and socializing, suitable for various activities from watching movies to casual conversations.

Adjacent to the salon is the dinette, which also functions as a breakfast station. This area is practical and designed for both crew and guests to enjoy meals comfortably. The dinette's proximity to the galley makes serving food straightforward and efficient.

The galley on Azure is a Euro-style kitchen that allows for both isolation and interaction between the crew and guests. It is equipped with a comprehensive range of appliances, including a full fridge freezer, a hidden dishwasher, a four-top burner, a convection oven, a microwave, and a wine cooler. This setup ensures that meal preparation and storage are handled with ease.

Moving to the helm, this control center is equipped with dual Garmin plotters, bow and stern thrusters, stabilizer fins, and electronic controls for the main engines and autopilot. This array of technology ensures that navigation and vessel operation are both efficient and safe.

Accommodation

Azure can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests across its well-appointed staterooms. The full-beam master suite provides a luxurious retreat with a king-size bed, a large television, and an expansive his-and-hers-style bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. Located at the bow, the VIP stateroom includes a queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort for its occupants. Azure has two twin staterooms, each equipped with twin beds and an ensuite bathroom. One of these staterooms shares access to the dayhead, which includes a shower, sink, and toilet.

She is also capable of carrying up to four crew. The crew quarters include a comfortable seating area for relaxation and meals, twin bunk room with an ensuite shower and head, along with an additional Pullman berth, a washer and dryer, and a small entertainment area to enhance the crew's living conditions.
