  • Open air cinema
  • Touch and go helipad
  • Generous deck space for entertaining and events

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement ice class steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 13.5m beam and a 3.8m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,892 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

Construction started in late 2003. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

In terms of color, Kogo's hull is painted grey, complemented by a white superstructure. The boot top and below the waterline areas are finished in black. The entire hull is coated with Awlgrip, a high-quality finish known for its durability and resistance to harsh marine environments. The bow has a raked shape, designed to improve hydrodynamics and slicing through waves effectively.

The decks are constructed from gray teak, which is lighter than traditional teak and remains cool underfoot, enhancing the comfort for those walking barefoot. Moving forward from the E-Deck, the main salon is accessible, continuing the practical design ethos.

One standout feature of the exterior is the outdoor open-air cinema on the E-Deck. The projector is mounted above, and a screen drops down, providing an ideal setting for watching films at sunset.

Kogo is equipped with a helipad that is engineered to support the weight of a helicopter during takeoff, landing, and while the yacht is underway. This helipad doubles as a versatile space, currently holding a rib tender when not in use for aircraft.

Below the top deck, an outdoor dining area offers an alfresco dining experience, complete with a full bar and lounging spaces. The area is designed to maximize comfort, with glass paneling providing wind protection.

In terms of utility, Kogo includes a dedicated dive room with ample storage for dive gear, sea bobs, electric surfboards, and other water sports equipment. This room provides direct access to the beach club, which features a transom that folds down to create a seamless transition from the yacht to the water. Above, 18 shower heads can create a waterfall effect, adding a unique touch to the beach club.

Interior Design

The main salon is characterized by dark wood parquet floors and an array of textures. This includes a wooden hanging sculpture and woven rope chairs, adding visual interest and tactile variety. The space is well-lit, despite the use of dark wood, due to ample natural light from windows on either side.

The salon also includes a full bar, providing a convenient spot for evening relaxation. Adjacent to the main salon is a communal area with a library and lounge, designed to offer a spacious feel. The interior cinema room features high-end premium audio and comfortable seating, creating an optimal environment for movie viewing.

The vessel's interior also includes a dedicated massage room, steam room, and spa. These facilities are designed with a consistent Asian influence, contributing to a cohesive design theme. The gym, located near these amenities, ensures guests can maintain their fitness routines during extended voyages.

In terms of dining, there is a large dining room capable of accommodating family gatherings. The dining area is designed to be practical and inviting, suitable for both casual meals and formal occasions.

The bridge deck features a walk-around bridge, a design element typically found on larger vessels. This space is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a wheelhouse display system that provides vessel motion and environmental data.

Kogo offers accommodations for up to 14 guests in seven well-appointed cabins. The master owner's suite stands out with its expansive layout, featuring a king-size bed, a private library lounge area, and his and hers en suites. The suite provides a secluded retreat within the yacht, ensuring complete privacy and comfort.

In addition to the owner's suite, Kogo includes four VIP staterooms. These cabins are designed with the same attention to detail and elegance, providing spacious and comfortable accommodations for guests.
