Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.1m beam and a 1.85m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 252 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Launched in November 2017 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in November 2017.
Exterior Design
With a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, Northland is built to handle challenging sea conditions. The design includes a high freeboard and a 4,000-nautical-mile range, making it suitable for long voyages and exploration. The fishing cockpit is substantial, featuring outriggers and a custom fighting chair, catering to those who enjoy fishing activities. The yacht's appearance is distinct, partly due to its unique hull color called Desert Sand.
The main and upper decks include large windows, ensuring ample natural light and offering clear views. The design also accommodates two expedition tenders on the foredeck, fulfilling the requirement for versatility in exploration and fishing capabilities.
The flybridge is designed to compensate for the space dedicated to the fishing cockpit, providing additional outdoor area for relaxation and activities. The exterior materials are selected for practicality, with Esthec used instead of traditional teak for the cap rails to reduce maintenance needs.
Interior Design
The main deck is primarily dedicated to social spaces, including the salon, dining area, library, galley, and bar. The color palette is composed of muted tones like taupe, chocolate brown, grays, and off-whites, accented by dark blues and mauve.
Central to the main deck is the lounge area, which includes an attractive bar clad in upholstered panels and is fully equipped to function as a wet area, allowing for easy cleaning and use during social gatherings. Adjacent to the lounge, the dining area is designed for both casual and formal dining experiences, making it a versatile space for entertaining guests.
A standout feature on the main deck is the staircase, which is flanked by glass on one side and a blue jellyfish panel by artist Alex Turco on the other. The galley is designed with input from a professional chef, ensuring it meets the needs of culinary preparation. It is conveniently connected to the port side deck and the sundeck, allowing for efficient service. The galley is equipped with commercial-grade appliances and it also allows for the removal and replacement of refrigerators and freezers as needed, reflecting the practical approach taken throughout the yacht's interior.
In the library/television room, a Crestron system and surround sound provide entertainment options. The room features club chairs from Christian Liaigre and a comfortable couch. The room is insulated to minimize noise and is designed to remain comfortable even in challenging sea conditions.
Accommodation
Northland offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C18 ACERT) 475hp engines, motor yacht Northland is capable of reaching a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 37,065 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at 9 knots.
