Delivered in 2023, Queen Tati is a 122'10" motor yacht built by MCP Yachts. Her interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture come from the drawing boards of MCP Yachts' in-house design team.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 26'9" beam and a 7'5" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 316 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Launched in October 2022 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.

Exterior Design

Queen Tati's sleek and robust silhouette is accentuated by a masterful blend of dark grey, black, and off-white hues, creating a striking and unmistakable presence whether she is at anchor or slicing through the ocean waves. The intricate paint scheme, executed with a lustrous Awlgrip coating, ensures that Queen Tati stands out with an elegant and contemporary aesthetic.

Functionality and luxury converge on the flybridge, which boasts a sociable layout complete with a pool and bar, offering an idyllic setting for relaxation and entertainment. The sun deck above extends the communal space, providing panoramic views that invite guests to bask in the beauty of the surrounding seascape. The observation top deck, crafted in lightweight carbon composite, allows for unobstructed 360-degree vistas and serves as a serene retreat for guests to enjoy moments of solitude or to gather under the stars.

Queen Tati's generous aft main deck is a versatile outdoor space, seamlessly integrating with the indoor areas. The aft deck was carefully constructed to ensure ample headroom for the beach club below, avoiding any sense of confinement and creating an inviting ambiance. A platform folds out from this area, expanding the space available for guests to lounge and interact with the marine environment. The watertight door on the starboard side opens to form a terrace on the sea, further enhancing the connection to the water.

The thoughtful design extends to the safety and comfort of guests, with flush decks eliminating trip hazards, and a heated spa pool on the flybridge deck providing warmth and relaxation. Additionally, the foredeck is equipped with an outdoor cinema, offering an unparalleled cinematic experience beneath the open sky.

The design ethos, encapsulated in the principles of "harmony," "home at sea," and "authenticity," translates into a space that is both welcoming and elegant, crafted to meet the highest standards of luxury living while withstanding the rigors of ocean travel.

Interior Design

The main saloon of Queen Tati serves as the heart of the yacht, offering an expansive and light-filled lounge area that seamlessly integrates with the outdoor environment through large panoramic windows. These windows not only provide breathtaking views of the ocean but also flood the space with natural light, accentuating the interior's soothing color palette and refined material choices.

As one moves through the interior, the use of oak becomes apparent, with grey-washed cabinets, naturally finished walls, and varnished flooring adding warmth and texture to the spaces. This choice of wood is complemented by ceramic finishes, bespoke paint, and carefully selected wallpapers, all contributing to the yacht's serene and balanced atmosphere.

The designers' attention to detail is evident in the loose furniture selection, featuring pieces from renowned Italian brands such as Minotti and Poltrona Frau, which offer guests both comfort and style. The cabinetry throughout Queen Tati is meticulously crafted, boasting sea-fastened drawers and intricate detailing that underscores the yacht's custom, high-end finish.

Lighting plays a pivotal role in the ambiance of the yacht, with a combination of sconces, mini spots, and underlighting creating a warm and inviting glow that enhances the interior's features at dusk, transitioning the mood from the brightness of day to the intimacy of evening.

In the spirit of creating a "home at sea," the yacht's interior is designed to be maintenance-friendly while never compromising on luxury. The designers have ensured that every element, from the choice of materials to the ease of access for cleaning and upkeep, contributes to a living space that remains pristine and welcoming throughout the voyage.

The HVAC system, meticulously specified by the owner, guarantees comfort and safety by renewing the air nine times per hour without the need for opening portholes, thus maintaining the integrity of the yacht's indoor environment in all conditions.

Accommodation

Queen Tati's luxurious accommodations are capable of housing a myriad of guests with six spacious cabins on board, including two that are specially designed to comfortably fit three occupants. Each cabin showcases a harmonious blend of modern design and cozy ambience, ensuring guests feel at home while cruising the high seas. The cabins are ingeniously designed to maximize space and provide guests with an intimate and tranquil setting.

The owner's suite, situated on the main deck forward, serves as the crown jewel of Queen Tati's accommodations. This lavish suite is a sanctuary of serenity for the yacht's owners, featuring expansive windows that bathe the room in natural light and offer sweeping views of the ocean. The suite is meticulously crafted with fine materials and finishes, creating a luxurious space for relaxation and privacy.

Additional guest cabins are designed with the same attention to detail and comfort, each featuring its own unique decor and ambience. The use of grey-washed oak on cabinetry, varnished oak on the floors, and teak on the ceilings, unifies the design language throughout the yacht, providing a natural and calming environment for guests. These cabins are equipped with state-of-the-art amenities and en suite facilities, ensuring that every guest's stay is as comfortable and convenient as possible.

Queen Tati is equipped with dedicated crew accommodations for up to 6. These quarters are designed to provide the crew with a private and restful environment, essential for maintaining the high level of service and operation standards expected on a luxury yacht.

Performance & Capabilities

At the heart of Queen Tati's performance lies her formidable engine setup, powered by twin C32 Caterpillar engines. These engines are the epitome of power and reliability, enabling her to reach impressive top speeds of up to 21 knots when operating at maximum rpm. This formidable speed is not simply for thrill-seekers; it also serves a practical purpose, allowing the yacht to comfortably cruise at 17 knots or swiftly outpace inclement weather if the need arises.

The efficiency of Queen Tati is equally commendable. At a cruising speed of 13 knots, she boasts a fuel consumption that is below 100 liters per hour. This efficient fuel usage translates into a remarkable transoceanic range of approximately 3,000 nautical miles, ensuring that destinations across the globe are well within reach.

Queen Tati’s semi-displacement hull is designed for excellent seakeeping abilities. The inclusion of a wave-piercing bow enhances her performance by reducing drag at higher speeds, akin to the benefits of a bulbous bow. Stability is a paramount feature of Queen Tati's design, and this is where her Naiad stabilizers come into play. These large fins provide significant stability both at rest and while underway, ensuring comfort and safety for all on board during long voyages or when anchored in the tranquility of remote coves.

The yacht’s engineering prowess extends to the redundancies and enhancements that anticipate the needs of extensive cruising. Queen Tati has been equipped with three watermakers, rather than the standard two, and features a robust refrigeration system that can function as both an industrial fridge or a freezer. Such thoughtful upgrades underscore the owner's desire for self-reliance and preparedness on the open seas.

Navigational excellence is also a key aspect of Queen Tati's design. The helm is outfitted with a comprehensive navigation console, and the presence of three captain's chairs allows guests to join in the piloting experience, fostering a communal and immersive journey. This feature, coupled with the simplicity of onboard operations, ensures that both the seasoned sailor and the enthusiastic novice can relish the thrill of navigation.

Queen Tati is not only visually captivating but also designed with an acute awareness of practicality and guest experience. Each space has been meticulously crafted to accommodate the various needs and desires of those on board, ensuring that whether they are seeking adventure, relaxation, or social engagement, Queen Tati delivers with elegance and grace.
