Delivered in 2015, Scorpion is a 46m motor yacht for sale built by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo. The yacht's elegant exterior design is by Francesco Paszkowski Design, while her interiors are the work of Owner.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.3m beam and a 2.65m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2012. This was the eighth yacht built on the 46Steel design. Launched in May 2015 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in June 2015.
Accommodation
Scorpion offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 2 VIP cabins and 2 cabins that can operate as twins or doubles. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512B DITA-SCAC) 12-cylinder 2,100hp engines running at 1600rpm, motor yacht Scorpion is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 45,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Scorpion also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
