Delivered in 2009, Steel is a 54.9m expedition yacht built by Pendennis. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Liebowitz & Pritchard, while Pendennis is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.6m beam and a 3.3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 769 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Accommodation
Steel offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 12 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512) 1,100hp engines, motor yacht Steel is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. She has a maximum range of 5,190 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Steel also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
