Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.5m beam and a 2.3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 299 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the RJ115 design. Launched in March 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2023.

Exterior Design

Starting from the aft, the yacht features a passerelle and a transformer at the stern, which can be lowered into the water, providing easy access to the beach club level. The open layout at the rear allows for an unobstructed flow from the main deck to the water, enhancing the usability of the space when anchored. Safety rails are in place but can be removed to maintain this open configuration.

The main deck is designed with a focus on relaxation, incorporating a cockpit area furnished with couches that promote a beach club atmosphere. Moving forward, the main deck integrates seamlessly into the interior spaces, providing a cohesive flow throughout the vessel.

The upper deck provides additional outdoor dining options, with a square dining table set under an overhang to offer shade and protection from the elements. This deck also includes facilities like an ice maker, fridge, and a crane for a tender, highlighting the yacht's functional aspects.

A standout feature is the uppermost sun deck, which is exceptionally spacious for a yacht of this size. It includes a large hot tub positioned at the bow, offering panoramic views. The deck also has a well-equipped bar area, a sizable barbecue, and ample seating, making it suitable for social gatherings and outdoor dining.

Forward on the main deck, there are additional sunbathing areas and seating, providing various options for outdoor relaxation. The bow area is kept tidy and functional, with paddleboards and other equipment stored neatly.

Throughout Stellamar, the design emphasizes practical luxury and the yacht's capability as an explorer vessel, without sacrificing the refined aesthetic expected of a yacht of her caliber.

Interior Design

The interior design of Stellamar is focused on comfort and practicality, with a strong emphasis on relaxation. The primary materials used throughout are pale wood and light finishes, which contribute to an open and airy atmosphere. The overall aesthetic is contemporary, featuring clean lines and minimalist decor that enhances functionality without compromising on style.

Upon entering the main saloon, guests are greeted by a spacious layout that encourages social interaction and leisure. The seating arrangement is designed to provide unobstructed views through the yacht, extending all the way to the water. This area includes comfortable couches and strategically placed coral accents, adding a subtle touch of the sea to the interior. The dining table is located adjacent to the seating area, offering ample space for meals and gatherings.

The galley is well-equipped to handle the demands of extended voyages. It features twin ovens, a large hob, and extensive refrigeration, including additional units located in the lower storage areas. The layout allows for efficient food preparation and service, ensuring that the crew can cater to guests comfortably and effectively.

Moving towards the helm, the bridge is outfitted with the latest navigation and control systems. Multi-function displays, mainly from Furuno, are configurable to suit various needs, while the Simrad autopilot and fin stabilization controls ensure smooth sailing. The helm provides excellent visibility, essential for safe and effective navigation.

The sky lounge is a versatile space that can serve multiple purposes. It is equipped with a large screen, making it suitable for movie nights or presentations. There's also a small card table and comfortable seating, providing another spot for relaxation or informal meetings. The lounge can be closed off with a pocket door, offering privacy when needed.

Accommodation

Stellamar can accommodate a total of ten guests across five well-appointed cabins. The arrangement includes a luxurious owner's suite on the main deck and four additional cabins on the lower deck.

Located forward on the main deck, the owner's suite is designed for both relaxation and function. As you enter, you'll find a private office area, perfect for those who need a quiet space to work while at sea. The suite also includes a spacious walk-in wardrobe, providing ample storage for extended voyages. The bedroom area features soft sheets and pale wooden finishes, creating a tranquil environment. The ensuite bathroom is equipped with twin sinks, a large shower, and even an infrared sauna.

The lower deck accommodates four versatile guest cabins. Two of these cabins can be configured with either twin beds or a double bed, depending on the guests' preferences. Both cabins also feature a Pullman berth for additional sleeping arrangements. Each cabin comes with its own ensuite bathroom, ensuring privacy and convenience for all guests.

The other two cabins on the lower deck are fixed double cabins, each offering a bit more space and larger ensuite bathrooms with rainfall showers. These cabins also have large windows, allowing guests to enjoy sea views from the comfort of their beds.

The crew quarters are designed to accommodate a crew of six, ensuring that guests receive top-notch service throughout their stay. The captain's cabin is located near the bridge and includes an ensuite bathroom. The remaining crew cabins are situated on the lower deck and are equipped with twin bunks and ensuite bathrooms.
