Let's begin in the main salon. It's spacious, comfortable, and a perfect place to entertain guests. (Or for just the two of you.)
The draperies, furniture and carpeting can be chosen from a wide selection of luxurious colours, fabrics and patterns. And, if you'd like, with the help of the Hatteras design staff.
The wood paneling is hand finished (naturally). There are extras like air conditioning (with reverse cycle heat) throughout the boat, tinted safety glass, even TV and telephone jacks. And, like most areas aboard, the salon has individually controlled speakers for the AM/FM stereo receiver and tape player.
Dinner guests? The salon can be a luxurious setting for a dinner party. Breakfast for two or a dinner by candlelight? Try the aft deck. There you'll find a wet bar with ice maker, Bottle and glass storage, plus wing doors to protect you from wind and weather.
Hatteras realized there are places on every boat where practicality and convenience are the measures of luxury; the galley on the 64 is one of them. Take note of the spacious refrigerator/freezer, the four-burner 240-volt electric range with oven hood and exhaust fan. There's a stainless steel double sink, food blender and garbage disposal and, of course, there's plenty of storage space.
