To coincide with its 40th anniversary, Galeon Yachts has debuted the 440 FLY at the 2023 Miami International Boat Show, alongside its sibling, the new 560 FLY.
The Galeon 440 Fly is the culmination of a collaboration with the renowned Tony Castro Design Studio, embodying the latest trends of the fourth generation of Galeon yachts.
The yacht's sleek exterior benefits from sporty accents and dynamic lines complemented by expansive windows on both the main and lower decks. Such design choices not only enhance the yacht's aesthetic but also bathe the interior in natural light. A masterful blend of style and substance, the Galeon 440 Fly's design emphasizes practicality and versatility, particularly in outdoor areas, ensuring comfort and ease of movement for each passenger.
The top deck is equipped with a helm station and a companion settee on the port side. The primary relaxation area, situated toward the stern, boasts an L-shaped sofa and an elongated table, comfortably seating six guests. Additionally, a wet bar keeps refreshments at hand, maintaining a tidy and hospitable environment for entertaining.
The main deck offers two distinct leisure zones, with the bow accessible via starboard sliding doors adjacent to the helm. This forward space is adaptable, featuring a foldable bimini and a front-facing seat for added shelter from the elements, ensuring guest comfort in various weather conditions.
Furthermore, the 440 Fly's cockpit is designed for easy boarding from all sides, thanks to a full-sized hydraulic stern platform complemented by Beach Mode with semi-glazed panels. When the sides are dropped down, the space expands, perfect for mooring and hosting activities like diving, fishing, or simply enjoying the sun. The bathing platform, doubling as a lift for water toys, provides access to a stern-facing grill area, making it a favorite spot for both water enthusiasts and foodies alike.
Moving inside, the Galeon 440 Fly offers a classic layout with the rest area pushed back, separated from the cockpit by sliding glass doors. The galley and helm station take the forward position, with the cabins nestled on the lower deck.
Accommodations are generous, housing four passengers in style. The mid-ship master suite and the forward VIP cabin boast ample volume and storage space. For those requiring additional sleeping quarters, a three-cabin layout with bunk beds is also available. The bathrooms on the lower deck are fully equipped with a head and shower, offering full standing height for added comfort.
If you're in the market for a new yacht, the Galeon 440 Fly promises to deliver a balance of sporty yachting and the indulgences of a luxury retreat thanks to its innovative design, versatile outdoor spaces, and sumptuous interiors.
