On Deck
Immediately on boarding, the yacht's garage feature is on display. This can accommodate a Williams 325 and a jet ski.
The Pershing 82 has generous deck areas, which is found to be surprising considering the yacht is a sports cruiser. There is a helm and a sunbathing area on the flybridge deck. Also of note is a wonderful wet bar area.
The yacht's sleek silver-grey design and luxurious features are admired, these include a large sun deck, adjustable table, and a social area equipped with a television that can also be viewed from the cockpit.
Interior
The yacht's dining area leads to the well-designed helm position, which is considered to be an important part of this boat due to its high performance.
The yacht has three cabins, which are all luxurious. Of particular note is the media room and the VIP guest cabins tucked right up into the bow of the boat. The boat's woodwork is beautiful throughout.
The owners' cabin has a bed situated crossways allowing there to be large windows at the head of the bed, with plenty of storage and an ensuite.
Crew Accommodation
Nick also explores the crew area, where the yacht's galley is located. He finds the galley's location beneficial as it increases the size of the mess area for the crew and keeps it separate from the main living area.
Performance
The yacht has incredible speed, with Nick stating that it is a "seriously fast boat". The engine room houses a pair of MTU 16V 2,435 hp engines capable of powering the yacht to speeds of 50 knots and a 30 to 40 knot cruise. The yacht can achieve a range of 310 nautical miles at 38 knots.
