The 40 was built in Italy by Sanlorenzo, interior and exterior styling by Francesco Paszkowski from Italy. The 40.8m/133'10" superyacht built from aluminium can sleep up to ten guests across five cabins. She was available with a range of inboard engine options.
Development started in 2007 and the first model rolled off the production line later the same year. She won two awards, most recently 'Best Exterior Styling - Motor Yacht' at the 2009 World Superyacht Awards.
She can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 24 knots via her twin 2,600hp MTU 16V 2000 M94 engines. In terms of range, the Sanlorenzo 40 has a standard range of 1,200 nautical miles (nm).
