The 5009 was built in the Netherlands by Damen Yachting with a multi-award winning in-house design team. The 55.5m/182'1" support vessel constructed in steel can sleep up to eight guests across three cabins. She was available with only one option for inboard engines.
Development started in 2009 and the first model rolled off the production line later the same year. She won 'Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts - 40m and above' at the 2022 World Superyacht Awards.
Performance
She can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 18 knots via her 4 x 1,500hp Caterpillar 3512C C02 engines. In terms of range, the Damen Yachting 5009 has a standard range of 5,000 nautical miles (nm).
