Bannenberg & Rowell is one of the world’s leading design studios, with a pedigree and yacht portfolio few can match.
The Bannenberg name is part of the modern superyacht story, with the late, great Jon Bannenberg driving design and innovation since the 1960s. Yachts such as Carinthia VI, Gails, Nabila, Azteca & Paraiso, The Highlander, Limitless, Siran and Thunder stand as both icons of their time and examples of Bannenberg unique creativity.
Today, Bannenberg & Rowell continue to create unique and breathtaking yachts, such as the 70m Feadship Joy, 47m Heesen, Elandess 2 and the 39m Feadship Kathleen Anne.
Based in London, the Bannenberg & Rowell team is headed up by Dickie Bannenberg and Simon Rowell. Dickie Bannenberg spent some 15 years working alongside his late father Jon and is determined that the second generation Bannenberg office should continue the creative trailblazing path first ignited by his father.
Simon Rowell has been Creative Director at the studio since 2003 and ensures that every piece of work leaving the Bannenberg studio is of the highest quality.
The Bannenberg & Rowell team work on interior, exterior and whole yacht projects, taking concepts into visuals, renderings and sample boards using detailed hand drawings or computer renderings.
Throughout the design process, they ensure that clients are fully updated with detailed and transparent budget schedules, supporting clients through the journey of creating their new yacht through design meetings, visits to the shipyard and liaison with suppliers and subcontractors.
