The 80 was built in Italy by Ferretti Yachts making full use of their in-house design team's expertise.
Development started in 1997 and the first model rolled off the production line in 1996. She was a runner-up at the Mediterranean Yacht Show in the 'Category A Platinum' category in 2016 where she came in 3rd place.
