Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.76m beam and a 3.2m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 986 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Adamas V features a raked bow, which enhances its sleek profile and improves performance at sea. The hull is painted in light grey, offering a modern and understated appearance. The superstructure is finished in white, creating a clean and crisp contrast. Below the waterline, the hull is coated in black, matching the boot top color. The hull's robust build ensures stability and seaworthiness, capable of withstanding severe Mediterranean storms.

The main guest entrance is accessible via a hydraulically extending boarding ladder, leading across the teak aft deck and through French windows into the main saloon. The layout prioritizes ease of movement and accessibility. The teak deck offers a durable and slip-resistant surface, suitable for various weather conditions. Moving up, the sundeck features a six-person Jacuzzi.

Adamas V's exterior also includes a spacious boat deck designed initially to carry twin 22-foot launches and a Mercedes saloon. Currently, a single boat is mounted athwartships, optimizing deck space. The bridge-like structure of the engine air intakes, which also supports twin Satcom dishes, showcases a functional design approach, integrating essential communications equipment seamlessly.

Interior Design

The interior design of Adamas V, directed by in-house designer Claudio Zampetti, focuses on functionality and subtle elegance. The materials chosen for the interior reflect a commitment to quality and a restrained aesthetic.

Entering the yacht through the hydraulically extending boarding ladder, guests arrive at the teak aft deck and proceed through French windows into the main saloon. This area is 15 meters long and 7.5 meters wide, featuring apricot Haas carpeting from Germany, which is hand-cut with a floral pattern. The saloon is divided into three distinct lounging areas, each upholstered in pale green patterned silk interwoven with silver thread. This same fabric is used in fan-shaped cushions and also covers the ceiling in moire silk.

The dining room, accessible through sliding doors made of tinted burr-maple, continues the use of high-quality materials. The cupboard doors lining the room match the sliding doors and are inlaid with a lighter pattern of squares. The 12-seater dining table is a focal point of the room, displaying exceptional craftsmanship. Hidden storage within the cupboards houses a Limoges dinner service, Baccarat crystal, Christofle cutlery, and table linen by Cesari of Rome.

Forward of the dining room, a small entrance lobby serves the side boarding ladder. This area connects to the galley and crew quarters on the lower deck via a gently curving stairway with a gold-plated handrail designed to resemble a tasseled rope.

Throughout the interior, the use of burr maple veneers, apricot carpeting, and soft furnishings chosen by Anna-Paola Nicolini demonstrates a cohesive design approach. The soft furnishings, in particular, tie together the elegant furniture design and flawless veneer joinery. The selection of textures and colors creates a consistent and refined environment throughout the main interior spaces.

Accommodation

Adamas V offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites. The master suite is divided into three distinct sections: a saloon, a master bedroom, and two luxurious bathrooms. The saloon features a writing desk, dining table, and a centrally-placed three-piece suite. The master bedroom is furnished with tasseled sofas, twin dressing tables, and a double bed richly upholstered in blue silk and gold thread. The suite includes two bathrooms, one fitted with an alcoved Jacuzzi and the other with a shower, both featuring high-end materials such as gold-plated fixtures, white onyx, and green amazonite.

The yacht offers additional accommodations for guests, including a spacious guest suite located on the main deck. This suite is elegantly furnished and includes twin bathrooms—one with a shower and the other with a Jacuzzi spa-bath.

On the bridge deck, there are four double staterooms, each decorated in a different color scheme: pink, sky blue, yellow, and green. These cabins are equipped with full audio-visual entertainment systems and en-suite shower rooms, providing comfort and privacy for all guests.

Adamas V's crew accommodation includes space for 20 crew members, located two decks below the main guest areas.
