Launched in November 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the yacht Amethyst is characterized by its practical and functional features, catering to both relaxation and fishing enthusiasts. The FD80 Hull 16 integrates the first fishing cockpit within the Fast Displacement Series. This cockpit is equipped for angling activities, featuring a Reelax Game Fighting Chair on the starboard side, complemented by a teppanyaki grill, Garmin Helm, and substantial storage. The port side hosts a portable induction cooktop. At the aft, practical elements include a one-meter bait well, two tuna tubes, and additional storage space. An ice box with an Eskimo Ice machine and storage compartments is discreetly located beneath the wooden floor.
The main deck aft is designed for practicality, with a custom-made dining table featuring an anchor motif with an amethyst inlay. Built-in sofa and top-loading refrigerator-freezers are conveniently positioned to keep refreshments accessible. The overall design emphasizes usability and easy access to amenities.
On the boat deck, a circular Jacuzzi with a Corian white onyx bar counter and bar stools offers a space for relaxation and socializing. Outdoor entertainment amenities such as a teppanyaki grill and chest freezer are easily accessible, supporting alfresco gatherings.
Interior Design
In the salon, water-bleached walnut provides a soothing backdrop, while a lounge chair and a rug with fish and purple veining patterns add subtle vibrancy. The space is divided by full-height custom mullion panels with RGBW backlighting, which draw inspiration from ocean life. The centerpiece of the lounge is a Michelangelo quartzite coffee table, accompanied by an L-shaped sofa with hidden storage. A 65” TV on the starboard side can be folded away to maintain clear sightlines and openness.
The open-style galley is designed with practicality in mind. Michelangelo quartzite is a recurring element, featured on the large island with bar stools and extending to countertops and heated flooring. This cohesive design is complemented by cabinetry that includes a custom vacuum-sealing drawer upon the owner's request, improving storage and usability.
The main deck foyer features a mirrored ceiling that reflects the glass façade of the wine cooler, creating a sense of space. A black metal-rimmed partition with clear glass frames the stairwell, highlighting a padded wall with a wavy pattern, reminiscent of artwork.
On the upper deck, the pilothouse is equipped with European Gray Oak flooring and includes three leather helm chairs. A dayhead is conveniently located to starboard, and an L-shaped sofa with a dinette completes this enclosed area.
The enclosed skylounge is designed for adaptability, featuring a U-shaped sofa on the port side for relaxation and dining. The starboard side hosts a wet bar with three stools and a foldable 43” TV. Storage is provided by a drawer refrigerator, freezer, and ice maker beneath the bar. The space can be transformed with a dynamic RGBW lighting system.
Accommodation
The yacht Amethyst accommodates eight guests across four well-appointed staterooms. At the forefront of the main deck, the master stateroom spans the full beam, offering an expansive and refined setting. This suite features a custom mattress and a bed frame with storage beneath, enhanced by a full-height, backlit headboard. Facing the bed, a 55” TV is integrated within a bespoke art feature wall, which subtly echoes the yacht’s amethyst theme. The ensuite is clad in Brazil Jade tiles and black metal fixtures, with amenities such as heated flooring and a full-height mirror that amplifies the room's spaciousness.
Below deck, three VIP ensuite staterooms offer their own distinct charm. The Ruby stateroom, located at the bow, includes a V-berth with flexible beds that can be configured as one or two twins. The Sapphire stateroom, to starboard, provides a serene atmosphere with soft blue accents, while the portside Emerald stateroom incorporates green accents for a fresh ambiance. Both the Sapphire and Emerald staterooms boast expansive panoramic windows, enhancing the guest experience with stunning views.
She is also capable of carrying up to 2 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
