Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 9.6m beam and a 2.2m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the Custom Line 50 design. Launched in June 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Custom Line's Ancona yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in August 2024.

Exterior Design

The largest and first all-aluminum yacht from Custom Line features an owner-centric, modern, yet conservative design. The innovative pilothouse is positioned on a half deck between the main and upper decks, with a significant design emphasis on the owner's suite, which includes a private terrace on the upper deck. Filippo Salvetti's exterior styling creates distinct outdoor spaces on each deck, resembling terraces overlooking the water. The beach club at the water's edge connects directly with the aft outdoor area on the main deck, designed as a private lounge. These spaces are integrated by a rectangular pool at the stern.

The open-air spaces extend to a large, customizable bow area and an expansive sun deck that can serve as a lounge. Over 70 square meters (753 square feet) of interior space is dedicated to a dining area and American bar. The bow area on the sun deck can also be customized with a Jacuzzi and solarium.

The yacht's side profile presents a forward-leaning dynamic with a bold black bootstrap defining the water's edge. The sharply raked bow features a distinct angle from the waterline. Large sections of glazing on the lower deck ensure ample natural light for the guest accommodations. Gunwale and fairlead openings add interest and define the main deck level. Guard rails replace the top sides in the central main deck area, enhancing the connection to the water from the main saloon. The side profile's curvilinear features define the wing stations outside the innovative pilothouse. Extensive glazing and black trim create a striking contrast against the pristine white hull and superstructure, while the black vertical radar mast links to a bold black angular detail that connects the deck levels from the main quarter deck to the sun deck and radar mast canopy.

The sun deck benefits from shade provided by the radar mast canopy. The stylish fluted wood and metal bar area is conveniently placed opposite round al fresco tables and a seating area. The glass-sided pool is slightly raised, offering elevated views, and is surrounded by smart wooden decking.

Interior Design

The interior design of Asante has living areas and lounges that feature Canaletto walnut woodwork, which adds a sense of dynamic movement to the cabinetry and interior walls. This material is complemented by light glazing, creating a contrast that enhances the sense of space.

The main salon is an open space designed for social interaction, with extensive glazing that floods the area with natural light. It contains two large sofas, leather armchairs, and pouffes, accompanied by side tables with white Calacatta marble tops. A 55-inch TV is integrated into the ceiling, controllable via the yacht's audio/video home automation system.

The dining area in the salon features a white Calacatta marble oval table capable of seating up to 12 guests. Reflective glazing ensures uninterrupted views of the surrounding seascape, enhancing the dining experience. Moving from this area, the lobby provides access to a staircase linking the lower and upper decks, covered in ivory-colored wallpaper from Phillip Jeffries and designed to reduce noise.

The galley, accessible from the dining area, is positioned on the port side of the main deck alongside the pantry. This efficient layout facilitates meal preparation and service. The helm station is located on a raised mezzanine level, providing optimal visibility for navigation and freeing space on the main deck. Its design focuses on ergonomics and functionality, with advanced integrated systems for propulsion management and navigation.

The sky lounge on the upper deck features reflective surfaces that amplify the sense of openness. It includes a large sofa, a Bang & Olufsen 77-inch TV, and a walnut and black aluminum unit designed for superior audio performance. The outdoor lounge area on the upper aft deck offers sofas and a coffee table, leading to an al fresco dining space with a custom table for 12 guests.

Accommodation

The yacht extends across four decks, with a layout design centered around the owner's suite on the upper deck. The stateroom, surrounded by windows offering a 180-degree view, provides direct access to a large private terrace in the bow, featuring a spacious, private lounge area with a sun pad.

Asante boasts four additional VIP cabins on the lower deck, completing a cabin layout that accommodates a total of 12 guests. The captain's cabin is conveniently located next to the wheelhouse, and a dedicated crew of nine ensures full guest service throughout.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32 ACERT) 1,470hp engines, motor yacht Asante is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 55,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
