Exterior Design
The upper deck features a Jacuzzi hot tub shaded by a bimini top, providing a practical and comfortable space for relaxation. For added convenience, the deck includes a touch-and-go helipad capable of accommodating a 5-ton helicopter.
The aft deck is equipped with dining and lounging spaces, enhanced by two large teak wet bars. Asteria's main amenities extend to a gym, sauna, cinema, barbecue, tender garage, swimming platform, pool, and Jacuzzi.
The hull, crafted from durable steel, showcases a Navy color that enhances its presence on the water. The superstructure is finished in a clean, white color. Asteria's clipper bow design contributes to its efficient performance and classic aesthetic. The deck is laid with high-quality teak, providing a non-slip surface that is both practical and visually appealing. The boot top and below the waterline sections are painted black, adding a cohesive and striking contrast to the overall appearance.
Interior Design
The interior design of the yacht Asteria, redesigned by the French firm Charles Zana, integrates classic elements with a modern twist. The use of navy-blue deep-cushioned sofas and rich marble in the bathrooms sets the tone for a sophisticated and comfortable environment.
The main saloon features large windows that allow ample natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation or social activities. The seating area is straightforward, with a large sofa that could serve as a comfortable space for watching television on the sizable screen, which enhances the onboard entertainment options.
Moving into the formal dining area, the space is centered around a substantial dining table that accommodates ten guests easily. The dining area is lined with large windows offering views of the surroundings, allowing guests to enjoy their meals while taking in the scenery. The design here is straightforward and functional, ensuring comfort and accessibility.
The galley is designed for efficiency, equipped to handle the demands of on-board catering. It is accessible from the main areas, allowing for smooth service. The galley is a working space, crafted to meet the needs of the crew and ensure a high standard of meal preparation.
The wheelhouse retains traditional elements, including the original ship's wheel and telegraph, reflecting the vessel's robust heritage. The wheelhouse provides a functional space for navigation, with modern electronics like multi-function displays and radar systems.
