Design & Construction

Designed around a carbon fibre hull and superstructure she features a 8.12m beam and a 5.5m draft. The yacht is built over 1 decks with an internal volume of 155 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the Swan 120 design.

Exterior Design

With a powerful canoe body known for its exceptional sailing performance, the yacht's hull has been meticulously shaped and tested through computational fluid dynamics to ensure optimal motion through the water. The sleek lines and modern silhouette are not only visually striking but also serve a practical purpose, reducing heeling for enhanced comfort on board.

One of the notable innovations on the Swan 120 is the introduction of a new swim platform, a feature strongly advocated by Frers. This serves as a transformative space, offering guests easy access to the sea and enhancing the connection with the natural surroundings. The hydraulically operated platform extends to create a beach area, further accentuated by a sunbed space strategically positioned behind the helms, allowing for full enjoyment of the yacht's aft section.

Another distinctive feature is the dual large hull windows that grace the saloon, flooding the interior with natural light and providing unobstructed, panoramic views of the ocean. Even from the comfort of the saloon's couch, guests are given the sensation of being right alongside the water, merging the interior and exterior experiences.

The exterior design is further complemented by Mark Whiteley's contributions, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic that extends from the yacht's interior to its outdoor spaces. Whiteley's involvement in selecting the exterior furnishings helps maintain a continuous style throughout, with choices that reflect the owners' personal taste and lifestyle.

Audrey The First's deck is designed not just for leisure but also for socializing and dining al fresco, with a dedicated bar area complete with stools and adjacent to a wine cabinet, creating a seamless flow between the yacht's social zones and private guest areas. A hatch opening to the galley allows for direct communication with the chef, enhancing the overall guest experience.

The yacht's exterior transcends the traditional boundaries of sailing yacht design, incorporating a Moroccan tent-inspired foredeck that doubles as a serene space for massages and relaxation, surrounded by removable mattresses and cushions. This unique feature exemplifies the yacht's ability to merge the allure of sailing with the comforts of a luxury retreat.

Audrey The First's deck and hull construction employ Sprint pre-preg carbon fibre with an M-grade Corecell foam core, balancing structural integrity with weight efficiency. This choice of materials not only contributes to the yacht's impressive performance capabilities but also reflects the owners' commitment to a sustainable and environmentally conscious approach to yachting.

Audrey The First is not just beautiful to behold but also remarkable in her sailing performance. With a commitment to sustainability and innovation, this yacht is poised to offer an unparalleled sailing experience, making every journey a luxurious adventure at sea.

Interior Design

The interior design of Audrey The First is anchored by a palette of crisp white surfaces and the warm tones of mahogany, a contrast that provides a sense of freshness and timelessness. To maintain the luxurious yet understated appeal, the designer strategically pared back on certain design details, such as elaborate paneling, opting instead for cleaner lines that signal a modern classic vibe.

The attention to detail in the yacht's interior is subtle yet impactful. Hand-painted white paneling and hand-buffed mahogany are among the artisanal touches that convey discreet opulence. Custom requests from the owners further personalize the space, including a massage table that can be used on the foredeck under a Moroccan tent-inspired setting with removable mattresses and cushions. Reflecting a dislike for visible screens, all cabins feature magic mirror televisions, seamlessly integrating technology without disrupting the aesthetic harmony.

The yacht's layout emphasizes spaciousness, with the owners choosing four cabins over five to ensure each area feels open and inviting. The full-beam master cabin is a sanctuary, complete with a walk-in wardrobe and designed with comfort and privacy in mind. The twin guest cabins are equipped with Pullman berths, offering flexibility and additional sleeping arrangements when hosting friends.

In the common areas, Whiteley's design promotes social interaction and relaxation. The bar area, complete with stools and adjacent to a dedicated wine cabinet, acts as a convivial space for guests to gather, bridging the gap between guest and crew quarters. It also allows for direct communication with the chef through a hatch to the galley, fostering a sense of inclusivity and ease.

Craftsmanship and luxury are equally evident in the yacht's interior finishes, with Loro Piana upholstery and fabric and leather details softening the modern lines and adding tactile richness to the living spaces. David Linley's bespoke games table and stools in the saloon are standout pieces, exemplifying the owners' commitment to quality and bespoke design.

Accommodation

Accommodations on Audrey The First are designed with an emphasis on spaciousness and comfort, ensuring that each voyage is as relaxing as it is memorable. The yacht is tailored to welcome a select number of guests, providing them with generous living spaces that are both intimate and lavish. The owners chose to feature four sumptuous cabins rather than five, favoring expansive individual quarters over a higher guest capacity. This thoughtful layout guarantees that every guest aboard enjoys ample room and privacy.

The full-beam master cabin at the forward section of the yacht is a sanctuary of serenity, offering a palatial retreat for the owners. It includes a luxurious walk-in wardrobe, ensuring that all attire and personal items are stored with care. The master cabin, like all guest accommodations on board, is equipped with a "magic mirror" television, seamlessly blending technology with the yacht's classic aesthetics by concealing screens when not in use.

Adjacent to the master cabin are twin guest cabins, each thoughtfully designed with Pullman berths. This addition not only provides extra sleeping options but also maintains the yacht's commitment to elegant practicality. Should friends or family of the owners' children come aboard, these cabins can comfortably accommodate them without compromising the yacht's ambiance of exclusivity.

The attention to detail in each cabin is evident in the use of fine materials and artisan craftsmanship. The interiors, a harmonious blend of white and mahogany, convey a timeless classic feel juxtaposed with modern amenities and luxury. Subtle hand-painted panels and hand-buffed mahogany surfaces are testaments to the skill of the specialized artisans at Nautor's Swan, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail that defines the interior spaces.

While the guest accommodations exemplify luxury and sophistication, the yacht also provides well-appointed crew quarters, ensuring that the dedicated team of up to five aboard Audrey The First can provide impeccable service while maintaining their own comfort and privacy. These quarters are strategically placed to allow for efficient operation and attentive care without intruding upon the privacy of guests.

Performance & Capabilities

The yacht’s total sail area of 1,118 sq m, inclusive of a furling code zero and an asymmetric spinnaker, paired with carbon spars and rigging, ensures a formidable presence under sail. This impressive sail plan, coupled with the yacht's advanced hull design, allows Audrey The First to cut through the water with grace and speed, delivering an exhilarating sailing experience.

Audrey The First also makes use of groundbreaking 4T Forte sails from OneSails. These sails are not only high-performing but also eco-friendly, as they are manufactured using recyclable materials and renewable energy. At the end of their lifespan, these sails can be recycled, aligning with the owner's environmentally conscious ethos.

For times when sails are stowed, Audrey The First boasts a full-beam engine room strategically situated below the saloon, which houses the heart of her mechanical prowess. Powered by 1 x diesel Scania (DI13 081M) 450hp engines, motor yacht Audrey The First is capable of reaching a top speed of 11 knots, and comfortably cruises at 9 knots. With her 5,500-litre fuel tanks, she has a maximum range of 1,875 nautical miles at 9 knots.

One of the unique features enhancing the yacht's performance is her hydraulic lifting keel, which enables access to shallower waters—expanding the possibilities for exploration and anchorage. This feature is particularly beneficial for owners who wish to venture into secluded bays and coves, which are often inaccessible to larger vessels with fixed keels.

Audrey The First is a harmonious fusion of elegance, innovation, and sustainability, making it a true embodiment of modern performance cruising superyachts.

Amenities

In addition, Audrey The First features a beach club where those on board can enjoy unwinding close to the water. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories.
