Construction started in early 2002. Launched in July 2003 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2004.

Exterior Design

Large windows punctuate the hull, allowing natural light to flood the interior spaces and provide expansive views.

The cockpit, with an unconventional layout, offers a service bar that enhances functionality, serving as an ideal setting for beach club-style service. The space is well-suited for guests to convene, thanks to its proximity to the water and convenient amenities such as sunscreen storage and coolers for cold beverages.

Moving forward, guests are greeted with ample seating arrangements that can comfortably accommodate a group, designed to be versatile and adaptable to different uses. The area features tracks for enclosure, allowing for climate control through air conditioning or heating, thereby offering a comfortable environment regardless of the external weather conditions.

The yacht's forward deck is accessible via the starboard side, revealing a Portuguese bridge that includes additional seating and a table—a prime location for guests to enjoy the journey with a sense of privacy and tranquility. The foredeck provides a functional space for crew operations, equipped with dual anchor setups and substantial storage facilities, including an oversized hatch leading to a spacious compartment below.

The sundeck is expansive, boasting a crane for tender and jet ski deployment, a service bar with essential amenities, and generous storage. This deck is optimized for both leisure and operations, offering guests an array of relaxation options including sun loungers, a hot tub, and a shaded seating area, as well as practical features for the crew.

Second Love's design combines functionality with understated elegance, providing a range of amenities and features that cater to both guest enjoyment and operational efficiency.

Interior Design

The main salon provides guests with a welcoming lounge area featuring modern furniture that complements the yacht's traditional build. Natural light floods in through the large windows, enhancing the warmth of the dark wood finishes and light-colored upholstery. The salon is equipped with a pop-up TV, creating an entertainment space that can be adapted to guest preferences.

Adjacent to the salon, the formal dining area is set to accommodate ten guests. The dining space is flanked by service stations, ensuring efficient meal service. The choice of furnishings and the thoughtful layout cater to both form and function, providing an ideal setting for formal meals.

The sky lounge on the upper deck is another notable area, where the ceiling features a distinctive map design. Furnishings here are chosen for their comfort and aesthetic appeal, with modern side tables and a bar area that is fully equipped with a refrigerator, ice maker, and ample storage for glassware and beverages. This space is versatile, easily transitioning from a casual gathering spot to a sophisticated entertainment venue.

The helm is designed for functionality and visibility, with four large screens providing access to navigation and vessel monitoring systems. The helm itself is flanked by comfortable seating, allowing guests to engage with the navigation process. The bridge is furnished with essential communication equipment and features both modern and traditional nautical instruments, including a wooden helm wheel. The captain's quarters are conveniently located adjacent to the helm, complete with ample windows, an en-suite bathroom, and a dedicated office space, ensuring the captain is always near the vessel's controls.

The galley features top-tier appliances, including a five-burner induction cooktop and a professional dishwasher. A walk-in pantry provides ample storage, ensuring ingredients and culinary tools are readily accessible.

Second Love welcomes up to 10 guests across five well-appointed suites. The configuration is composed of an owner's cabin, three double cabins, and one twin cabin.

The owner's suite, situated on the main deck, boasts a full-beam layout that accentuates the spaciousness of the room. This suite includes a king-size bed, an office area, ample storage, and a generous bathroom complete with a jet tub and skylight. The windows invite natural light, enhancing the cabin's inviting atmosphere.

The three double cabins feature comfortable king-size beds, en-suite facilities, and ample storage, ensuring that each guest experiences luxury and convenience. One of these cabins also offers a jet tub, further elevating the sense of indulgence.

The twin cabin is designed with flexibility in mind, offering a Pullman berth and accommodating up to three guests. This cabin also benefits from en-suite facilities and storage.

Second Love is equipped to house up to 9 crew members. This ensures that every aspect of the guests' stay is managed with attentive service and the utmost professionalism. The crew accommodations are designed to offer comfort and privacy.

Performance & Capabilities

At the heart of Second Love's performance capabilities are her twin Caterpillar 3512 B engines. Each engine is a 12-cylinder powerhouse generating 2,250 horsepower at a rate of 1925 revolutions per minute, providing a top capability of 19 knots and a cruising speed that is comfortably set at 15 knots. These speeds are not only an indication of the yacht's sprightly nature but also of its ability to undertake swift passages between destinations, ensuring guests spend less time in transit and more time enjoying their luxury experience.

Second Love's considerable fuel capacity of 38,986 liters equips her for extended voyages with a maximum range of 2,300 nautical miles when cruising at a more leisurely pace of 10 knots. This extensive range is ideal for long-distance journeys, granting the freedom to explore remote locations without the frequent need for refueling stops.

Second Love is equipped with stabilizers that serve to minimize the roll motion both at anchor and while underway. This technology is particularly beneficial in rough waters, where it enhances onboard stability and guest comfort, ensuring a more pleasant and restful experience, regardless of sea conditions.

Featuring a semi-displacement hull, Second Love strikes an optimal balance between voluminous interior spaces and nautical agility. This design allows for generous accommodations and amenities on board while maintaining the yacht's ability to glide gracefully across the water's surface.

Amenities

A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Summer Dance also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
