Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 6.71m beam and a 2.2m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 126 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Beleza is both practical and functional, reflecting its purpose as a long-range explorer yacht. Starting at the stern, the yacht features a large swim platform accessible via a built-in staircase on the port side. The covered aft main deck is equipped with a fixed table and seating arrangements, providing a space for up to nine guests to dine and relax. The area includes teak flooring and a sunshade, ensuring a comfortable environment. Wide side decks with full teak decking and high bulwarks on both the upper and main decks offer protection and safety, especially in heavy weather.
The boat deck, primarily a technical space for tenders and toys, is located in the bow area. It is equipped with a 1,500kg crane for launching and recovering watercraft such as the Zodiac Pro 500 tender and the Sea-Doo Spark jet ski. The Portuguese bridge allows the captain or officer to oversee these operations, emphasizing safety.
The flybridge features a full helm station, a bimini top, and a seating area with a dining table, accessible via a staircase from the skydeck. The aft section includes a forward-facing seating area between the two stacks, with high guardrails for added safety. The dry stack exhaust system reduces noise and vibration, improving the onboard experience. The radar mast is equipped with two satellite communication domes and a Furuno radar.
The foredeck houses the deck gear for the anchor, with guard rails extending aft for safety. The layout is efficient, allowing quick access to necessary equipment.
Interior Design
The main saloon features an L-shaped seating area with a table and freestanding chairs. Thanks to large windows, the space is filled with natural light, creating a welcoming environment. The saloon can be easily transformed into a cozy lounging area by adjusting the blinds, providing flexibility for different activities and times of day.
The galley is well-equipped to handle all culinary needs on board. It includes top-of-the-line appliances such as a large refrigerator and freezer, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a gas stove top with multiple burners. The layout is practical, designed for easy meal preparation and efficient service to the dining areas. Ample storage space and generous countertops enhance the functionality of the galley, allowing for organized and streamlined cooking processes.
The wheelhouse offers excellent visibility thanks to its large windows. The helm station is equipped with advanced navigation and control systems, including multifunction displays for the Furuno radar, digital displays for the generators, and controls for the twin engines and bow and stern thrusters. The traditional destroyer ship's wheel adds a classic touch. The wheelhouse also features a single helm chair designed for comfort during long voyages and a raised seating area with a high-low table, which can be converted into a berth if needed.
Accommodation
Beleza features four main guest cabins accommodating nine guests, each thoughtfully designed to ensure a pleasurable stay. The master stateroom is situated forward and spans the full beam of the yacht, providing ample space. This cabin includes a queen-size bed, a desk with a vanity area on the starboard side, and a built-in settee on the port side. The master stateroom also boasts a walk-in hanging closet and an en suite head with a granite shower.
Moving aft from the master cabin, there is a guest cabin on the starboard side equipped with two single beds and two Pullman berths if additional sleeping space is required. This cabin also features ample storage, including hanging lockers and numerous drawers. The en suite head has a shower with a convenient bench, ensuring stability and comfort even in rough seas.
The final guest stateroom is located to port midships after the master stateroom. This cabin is furnished with a queen-size bed and includes an en suite head with a granite shower, hanging lockers, and plenty of drawer space.
Situated aft of the wheelhouse, there is a VIP guest cabin featuring a double queen-size bed, a sink, and a fridge. This cabin benefits from large windows that allow natural light to flood the space and there is access to a private deck area.
The crew quarters are located in the whaleback and are designed to house the vessel's crew comfortably.
Performance & Capabilities
Beleza is powered by twin Caterpillar 3406 main engines, each producing 365 horsepower. These engines are water-cooled and feature dry stacks, which help in reducing noise and vibration, enhancing the overall experience for everyone on board.
The yacht boasts an impressive range of over 6,000 nautical miles, making it an ideal vessel for extended voyages. Beleza maintains a steady cruising speed of 9 knots while operating both engines and a generator at 1,300 RPM, consuming just 40 liters of fuel per hour. This efficient fuel consumption ensures that you can travel long distances without frequent refueling stops. The yacht also has a top speed of 12 knots, providing a balance between speed and fuel efficiency.
For ultimate comfort while underway, Beleza is fitted with NAIAD model 304 stabilizers, which were fully serviced in 2022. These stabilizers significantly minimize rolling, ensuring a smooth and pleasant journey for all aboard. Beleza is also equipped with a high-capacity water maker, ensuring a consistent supply of fresh water throughout your voyage. The yacht also features a fuel polishing system, which maintains the cleanliness and quality of the fuel. Powering the yacht's electrical systems are two Solé Diesel commercial-grade 30-kilowatt generators.
