Delivered in 1985, Buckpasser is a 120'7" motor yacht for sale built by Hitachi Zosen. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Jack Hargrave.

Key Features

  • Enclosed aft deck with L-shaped sofas
  • Large main salon with expansive windows
  • Sleeps eight guests in four cabins
  • Bridge deck with two tender-launching cranes

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 25'5" beam and a 7'2" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 269 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Buckpasser's structure incorporates extensive use of glass and stainless steel, providing a modern and polished look. The hull is painted white, complemented by a white superstructure, creating a cohesive and clean look.

The bow is designed in a clipper shape, enhancing navigational performance and cutting through waves efficiently. The deck is made from teak, providing a classic and durable surface that withstands the elements well. The boot top is painted red, adding a subtle touch of color that contrasts with the black paint below the waterline.

The outdoor areas feature a nautical, striped lounge area and a sit-up bar, making them ideal for leisure activities in a subtropical climate. On the bridge deck, two cranes are installed for launching tenders, demonstrating a practical approach to functionality.

Interior Design

The enclosed aft deck area, accessible via glass and stainless steel doors from the cockpit, features built-in L-shaped sofas facing forward on both sides, complemented by matching chair and table settings suitable for relaxed dining.

From the aft deck, additional glass and stainless steel doors open into the large main salon. This space is characterized by expansive windows on both sides, accented by varnished teak trim and crown moldings above. The salon offers comfortable seating arrangements with settees and armchairs.

The starboard walkway leads to a formal dining room, which is accessed through a large teak door. The dining area is equipped with built-in buffet cabinets on both the port and starboard sides, ensuring ample storage.

The salon boasts a distinctive blue carpet, brown leather sofas, patterned armchairs, and gold-colored satin curtains. Collectible figurines of a boat and a motorcycle, placed beside the flat-screen TV, create a unique blend of contemporary and classic elements.

Accommodation

Buckpasser is designed to house up to eight guests across four double cabins. Each cabin is thoughtfully appointed with fashionably intricate cushions and cozy carpets. The dark bedside tables in each cabin further enhance the classic and chic design theme that is consistent throughout the yacht.

The yacht also offers quarters for a crew of eight, ensuring a high crew-to-guest ratio that allows for exceptional service.

Performance & Capabilities
