Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and a carbon fibre superstructure she features a 6.34m beam and a 2.03m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 155 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the third yacht built on the S10 design. She was completed at Azimut's Fano yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in September 2021.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of D Five has a sleek and sporty appearance. The yacht features an open flybridge equipped with a bar and areas designated for dining and lounging, facilitating a blend of relaxation and social activities outdoors. Enhancements such as a sun shade sail on both the bow and flybridge, which are optional, offer versatility in sun protection, catering to guest preferences. The addition of a bimini in the cockpit further emphasizes this adaptability.
For the decking, an option for a teak floor on the flybridge has been chosen, signifying a preference for durable and aesthetically pleasing materials. Lighting plays a crucial role in the yacht's exterior ambiance, with a luxury lights package for exteriors enhancing the evening and night-time experience. Comfort and functionality extend to the seating arrangements, with an L-shaped sofa on the portside flybridge and automatic hi-lo tables on the bow accompanied by sunbathing cushions, optimizing space and usability.
The garage, with a carbon fiber door, houses the tender and, when opened, transforms into a sizable swim platform at the yacht's stern, enhancing access to water activities and leisure.
Interior Design
The materials selected for the interior spaces include slatted natural wood on the ceilings, cream-colored carpets, and textured mid-tone wood for the cabinetry and wall panels. These choices contribute to a contemporary style, consistent with Azimut's Perla Nera collection.
Lighting within D Five is carefully planned to enhance the interior's architectural features and to create an inviting ambiance. The integration of floor-to-ceiling windows floods the main deck with natural light, further amplifying the sense of space. For artificial lighting, a luxury lights package is employed throughout the yacht, ensuring that the environment is well-lit, both for functionality and atmosphere.
The main deck houses the interior dining area, designed to facilitate social gatherings and meals. Adjacent to this, the saloon lounge provides a comfortable space for relaxation. These areas can be integrated with the aft deck to form a unified indoor-outdoor space, thanks to the thoughtful layout and design elements that encourage fluid movement between the two.
The galley is equipped with Miele appliances, known for their reliability and high performance. A dumbwaiter adds convenience, facilitating the transport of items between the galley and other areas of the yacht. The galley is separated from the laundry and crew area by a sliding access door, ensuring that operational aspects of the yacht remain discreet and do not intrude on the guest experience.

D Five offers accommodation for up to eleven guests across its four cabins. This layout includes a full-beam master suite, a VIP cabin, one guest double, and a twin cabin, which also houses an additional Pullman bed. Each space has been designed to optimize comfort and privacy for guests on board.
