Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.15m beam and a 2.7m draft. The yacht is built over 5 decks with an internal volume of 487 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2009. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in August 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2012.
Exterior Design
Featuring a full displacement hull made of steel, E & E is designed for stability and comfort at sea. The hull is painted cream, while the superstructure, made of aluminum, is white. A black boot top color adds contrast to the vessel's appearance.
The bow is flared and raked and a forward-placed bridge with a chunky and angular cream-colored radar arch ensures optimal visibility and navigation capabilities. The teak deck material provides a durable and aesthetically pleasing surface for guests and crew alike.
The main deck aft is shaded and equipped for lounging and dining, with direct access from the bathing platform. Above this area is a central gathering point featuring a 12-place dining table, bar, television, and casual seating.
A new guest deck forward of the bridge features ample seating and two tables, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. Above the bridge, a small sundeck includes a spa pool, upward spraying shower, day head, and sunbathing area. The crew has their dedicated space on the foredeck, fitted with seating and umbrellas.
Interior Design
The interior design of the yacht E & E, crafted by Art-Line Interiors, integrates a diverse range of materials and thoughtful spatial arrangements to enhance functionality and aesthetic appeal. Upon entering the main saloon, visitors are greeted by rich, warm tones of Indian apple veneer, setting a welcoming atmosphere. The design incorporates an array of materials such as backlit onyx, wengé, glass for flooring, stainless steel, leather, and gold paint. Notably, accent panels made from a combination of glass, acrylic, and wengé slats provide visual interest.
The main deck features a combined saloon and dining room. The saloon includes two seats positioned against the windows, allowing unobstructed passage along the starboard side. On the port side, two semicircular structures create a semi-enclosed television lounge, offering a cozy space for relaxation. The central area houses a dining table that can be adjusted to seat either eight or ten guests, catering to different dining requirements.
The helm, located on the wheelhouse deck, offers excellent visibility, thanks to its elevated, forward position. This deck also serves a dual purpose by stowing the tenders, optimizing the use of available space.
On the upper deck, the panoramic lounge stands out, offering 180 degrees of forward views. This space is designed for guests to enjoy unobstructed vistas while relaxing indoors. The lounge's layout maximizes the available space, ensuring a comfortable setting for socializing and unwinding.
Accommodation
E & E can host a total of 10 guests across five well-appointed cabins, comprising an owner cabin, two VIP cabins and two double cabins. The arrangement of these cabins ensures that guests enjoy the best possible views and ample natural light, thanks to their placement on the upper deck.
Located on the main deck forward, the master suite features six floor-to-ceiling windows, providing expansive views and abundant natural light. The suite includes an office area, a modern chaise longue, and a king-sized bed set in a circle of onyx. The master suite also boasts twin en suites; hers with a bath and his with a vast shower, both lined with honey onyx.
The upper deck houses four guest suites, consisting of two twin cabins and two double cabins. The two aftmost suites have direct access to the side decks, enhancing the feeling of space and light. Each cabin is designed to be spacious, offering a comfortable retreat for guests.
The lower deck of E & E is dedicated to crew accommodation and services. She is capable of carrying up to nine crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. There are six crew cabins, and the crew mess is notably large for a yacht of this size, offering a communal space for the crew to relax and dine. The lower deck also includes extensive laundry facilities and pantry storage.
