Design & Construction

Designed around a fast displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.19m beam and a 1.78m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 127 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

At the aft deck, the yacht provides a large and versatile space that feels more substantial than its 100-foot length suggests. This area can be arranged for dining or relaxation, with freestanding furniture that allows for flexibility.

Moving up to the sun deck, the yacht features a hot tub and a sunbathing area. The space is open and offers excellent views, supported by a hardtop that provides structural integrity. The upper deck includes a bridge equipped with Garmin screens for navigation, alongside functional elements like balanced stern thrusters and engine controls.

The deck areas are designed for ease of movement and functionality. They include various storage options and integrated features like an adjustable-height barbecue and refrigeration units. The yacht is equipped with side doors that facilitate access to the main saloon and bridge areas.

The forward deck offers practical storage areas and anchor handling equipment, ensuring the yacht is equipped for operational efficiency. Safety is prioritized with sturdy guardrails around the deck, maintaining security as you move throughout the vessel.

At the stern, a beach club area enhances the yacht’s usability for water activities, with a high-low platform providing a dedicated space for tender storage. This feature, along with the large clamshell opening at the transom, enhances the yacht’s adaptability for leisure and utility.

Interior Design

The galley is designed to be both open and versatile, with the option to enclose it for privacy. It features an island at the center and is equipped with multiple refrigeration units, a trash compactor, and a dishwasher. The cooking area is fitted with an extractor fan above the hob. The galley links directly to the side deck for easy access.

The helm area is well-organized, with Garmin screens for navigation, radar, and other essential systems. It includes engine controls, autopilot, trim tabs, and searchlight controls, all strategically placed for efficient operation. The bridge is equipped with side doors for quick access to deck areas.

In the lounges and saloons, Horizon has incorporated floor-to-ceiling windows that provide ample natural light and can be opened to allow fresh air to circulate. The saloon area includes a TV that discreetly drops from the ceiling, while the dining section is adjacent, offering a cohesive entertainment space. Sliding doors on both sides enhance the flexibility of the area, allowing it to be air-conditioned or opened up depending on the weather.

The choice of materials throughout the interior is deliberate, with a mix of wood and upholstered panels creating a balanced and inviting atmosphere without being overwhelming. The detailing includes bronze-colored accents and floating steps with glass panels, adding to the visual interest without compromising the clean, straightforward lines of the design. The integration of AV equipment and practical storage solutions further enhances the functionality of the living spaces.

Accommodation

The Horizon FD100 /911 can accommodate up to 10 guests across five cabins, offering flexible arrangements for various guest needs.

The main deck features an expansive owner's suite, providing a private retreat with ample wardrobe space and luxurious furnishings. The suite includes a large ensuite bathroom with dual access points, centered around a sizeable shower and fitted with substantial storage. The design has a balance of wood and upholstered panels.

Additionally, there is a twin cabin with a Pullman berth, allowing for up to three guests, ideal for families with children. This cabin also includes an ensuite bathroom and plenty of storage space.
