The 120' expedition yacht Kahu was delivered to her owners in 1978 by Whangarei Engineering & Construction Ltd (WECO).
Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 20' beam and a 7'10" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 160 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Accommodation
Kahu offers accommodation for up to 16 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin and 3 double cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Motor yacht Kahu is capable of reaching a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 8,454 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 7 knots.
