Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.8m beam and a 2.54m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 320 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the Kando 110 design. Launched in July 2019 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The bow of Lady Caroline is shaped in a traditional clipper style, providing an efficient and seaworthy profile. The hull and superstructure are both finished in a clean white color, complemented by the black boot top and below-the-waterline sections.
Starting at the swim platform, you'll find a transom door that leads down to the engine room and crew area. Moving up to the aft deck, there's a large U-shaped seating area with a table, additional chairs, and a built-in bar. A spiral staircase provides access to the bridge deck.
The sundeck is notably expansive, featuring an infinity pool with sun pads and a large bar area equipped with essential amenities like ice makers and refrigerators. The sundeck also includes a second helm station and additional alfresco dining space.
The bridge deck aft is fitted with teak furniture and more seating options. Forward, the bridge offers modern electronics and excellent visibility through large, angled windows. The yacht also has wing stations on either side for better maneuverability.
At the bow, there's ample storage space for tenders and jet skis, along with heavy-duty equipment for anchors. The Portuguese bridge design enhances safety and accessibility for crew operations.
Interior Design
Upon entering the main salon, visitors are greeted by an inviting space featuring elegant seating areas on either side. Notably, an elevator provides convenient access between decks, enhancing mobility for all guests.
The salon also includes a formal dining area that is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Equipped with multiple wine fridges and refrigerators, it offers ample storage for culinary and beverage needs. The dining experience is elevated by the sophisticated millwork and accent lighting, which are consistent design elements throughout the yacht.
The galley is designed for efficiency and convenience, featuring a full-size refrigerator and freezer, a dumbwaiter, an oven, a cooktop, a dishwasher, and a sink.
Moving to the helm, the pilot house is equipped with modern electronics, including four large multifunction displays and side access doors for quick and easy movement. The captain's chair is complemented by a bench seating area behind it, making the helm both functional and comfortable for navigation.
The Sky Lounge is an open and versatile space, featuring a large sofa, a mirrored wall with a built-in TV, and a fully stocked bar area complete with sink, refrigerator, and ice maker. The use of large windows allows for ample natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere.
Accommodation
Lady Caroline accommodates up to 12 guests in six well-appointed cabins. The owner's suite is located on the main deck and features a spacious office area, a large bedroom with accent lighting, and extensive views through expansive windows. The suite includes a walk-in closet and a luxurious ensuite bathroom equipped with a jetted tub, a rainfall shower, double vanities, a toilet, and a bidet.
On the lower deck, there are four guest cabins. These include two mirrored VIP cabins, each featuring a double bed, TV, desk or dressing table, closet space, and a private ensuite bathroom with a shower. Additionally, there is a bonus guest cabin located off the galley. This cabin offers two single beds and an ensuite bathroom.
Lady Caroline is designed to host a crew of up to five members. The crew quarters include two double cabins, each equipped with bunk beds, a desk, and ample closet space. There is also a shared head for the crew. The captain's cabin is situated aft of the bridge and is conveniently located near the primary operational areas of the yacht.
