The 88'11" motor yacht Lori Lynn was delivered to her owners in 1995 by Nordlund. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Ed Monk Yacht Design, while Pokela Design is responsible for her interior design.

Key Features

  • Spacious cockpit with fishing rod holders
  • Large flybridge with docking station
  • Full-beam master stateroom with ensuite
  • Range of 1,400 nautical miles at cruising speed

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 21' beam and a 5'7" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 123 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Lori Lynn's raked bow enhances the yacht's hydrodynamics, contributing to smoother navigation. The deck incorporates both GRP and teak materials. The yacht's color scheme features a white hull and superstructure, complemented by a black boot top and below-the-waterline color, creating a classic and understated aesthetic.

The cockpit area is designed for fishing efficiency. It includes multiple rod holders, allowing quick access to different types of rods as needed. Engine controls in the cockpit facilitate easy mooring, and navigational screens provide essential data such as GPS, radar, and depth sounder information, all within easy reach. The cockpit also includes a freezer for storing caught fish and a live well for bait.

Moving up from the cockpit to the aft deck, there is a seating area that offers a comfortable space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The flybridge is accessible from both inside the yacht and via a ladder. It features a docking station that provides precise control when approaching a dock. The flybridge also houses a large tender, a crane for lifting and retrieving it, and a sizable jet ski equipped with rod holders. Additionally, there is a sunbathing area and another seating space for socializing.

Interior Design

The galley is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, ample counter space, and plenty of storage. The open layout allows easy interaction with guests seated in the adjacent dining area, making it convenient to socialize while preparing meals. The lounge and salon seating areas are arranged to promote conversation and provide clear views of the surroundings.

The helm is spacious and well-equipped, featuring advanced navigational tools such as GPS, radar, and a depth sounder. It offers excellent visibility and control, ensuring a smooth and secure operation of the yacht.

Accommodation

Lori Lynn offers accommodations for up to six guests in three well-appointed staterooms. The master stateroom, located aft, is a full-beam suite providing a significant amount of storage space. This cabin features an expansive ensuite bathroom with a large shower. The proximity of the master stateroom to the engine room is notable, with a short corridor leading directly to it.

Lori Lynn includes two additional guest staterooms, each equipped with queen beds. These cabins are situated below deck and come with ample storage and ensuite bathrooms, ensuring a private and comfortable stay for all guests.

The crew accommodation is comprised of two separate cabins—one for the captain and one for additional crew members. These quarters share a sizeable bathroom and shower.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3408) 800hp engines, motor yacht Lori Lynn is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
