Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 5.5m beam and a 1.4m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 87 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the second yacht built on the Pershing 82 design.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Milagros is marked by its practical and straightforward aesthetics. The spoon bow shape contributes to its effective cutting through the water, enhancing overall performance and stability. The deck is constructed from teak, known for its durability and resistance to the elements. The hull and superstructure are uniformly colored in silver, providing a consistent and sleek appearance. The boot top and below the waterline areas are painted black, creating a sharp contrast with the silver hues above.
Starting with the sundeck, it features a well-engineered helm station equipped with a control block for operating various functions such as the console, lights, and horns. The helm area includes a tiller for quick reaction to the hydraulic steering system, balance steering thruster controls, and trim tab controls, all essential for high-speed navigation.
The forward half of the sundeck is fitted with a U-shaped settee and an electro-hydraulic bimini top for shade. Three large sun pads provide ample space for sunbathing. The foredeck area is designed for relaxation, featuring storage lockers and a low frans windlass at the centerline.
On the aft deck, the swim platform is accessed through stainless steel boarding gates. The tender garage can launch a tender or jet ski and includes additional storage. The aft deck also serves as a space for alfresco dining and family gatherings, with a convertible dinette and a third sunbathing area.
Interior Design
The interior design of Milagros, built by Pershing, is characterized by its use of high-quality materials and functional layout. Upon entering the salon, one is immediately struck by the use of Poltrona Frau leather, which covers not only the seating but also the bulkheads. This choice of material adds a touch of sophistication while remaining practical for everyday use.
The salon is designed with an open layout that benefits from the placement of the galley below deck, creating a more spacious and uncluttered environment. On the starboard side, there's leather seating that offers both comfort and durability. Opposite, a pop-up TV is housed in a light oak cabinet, which matches the overall decor of the yacht.
The wet bar area is a functional space, equipped with refrigeration, a sink, and a wine cooler. These amenities ensure that refreshments are always within reach. The bar's location also provides easy access to the port and starboard side wing doors, allowing for smooth movement throughout the yacht.
Moving to the helm, the design focuses on efficiency and control. The helm station includes a multi-function display, ACR spotlight control, and a FLIR camera, all conveniently located for the operator. The tiller stick offers an alternative to the traditional steering wheel, providing precise control over the hydraulic steering system. The helm also features balance steering thruster controls and trim tab controls, which are essential for maintaining performance at higher speeds.
The lower helm is equipped with twin multi-function Furuno displays and San Giorgio tank monitors. Additional controls for the valve and stern thrusters, as well as trims and flaps, are also available. NaviOp controls provide comprehensive engine data, ensuring that the operator has all the necessary information at their fingertips.
The lounge areas on Milagros are designed for relaxation and socializing. The light oak theme continues throughout, giving these spaces a bright and airy feel. The lower salon, situated at the foot of the stairs, is equipped with a TV and speakers, creating an inviting environment for entertainment.
Accommodation
Milagros can host a total of six guests across three well-appointed cabins, ensuring a pleasant stay for everyone aboard. The owner suite is the highlight of the lower deck, occupying the full beam of the yacht. This spacious cabin offers ample headroom and features LED lighting throughout. The suite is surrounded by side windows that allow natural light to flood the room, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. The ensuite bathroom is located on the starboard side and is accessible through sliding glass doors. Inside, you'll find modern amenities designed for comfort and practicality. The owner suite also includes a full-size hanging locker with drawer storage.
Milagros includes two additional guest cabins. Located to starboard, the first guest cabin features twin beds and a Pullman bunk, making it a versatile space for different guest configurations. It also comes with a storage locker and access to an ensuite bathroom, which doubles as a day head.
Found on the centerline of the yacht, the VIP guest cabin offers an island berth for a comfortable night's sleep. This cabin also has pocket storage on both the starboard and port sides. Natural light is provided by a centerline skylight and hull-side windows, in addition to indirect LED lighting.
The crew quarters are located below deck, ensuring that the crew can work efficiently while providing top-notch service to the guests. The area includes a captain's cabin and a double bunk cabin, along with a day head and various storage options. The adjacent galley is equipped with essential appliances, including a stainless steel sink, Meile cooktop and oven, General Electric refrigerator and freezer, and a microwave.
