Exterior Design
The main deck offers a spacious aft area equipped with a long dining table that can accommodate up to 12 guests. This area is perfect for alfresco dining and enjoying the surrounding views.
The most notable feature of the exterior is the "party deck," designed for entertainment and leisure. It includes two bars, a raised dance floor, sunbeds, casual seating areas, a barbecue, three cinema screens, and a spa pool. The dance floor has a circular glass center that is underlit with twinkling lights, creating a subtle ambiance.
Above the party deck is the sun/helicopter deck. The aft section is dedicated to the helipad, which can double as a golf driving range when the helicopter is not on board. The forward section includes a second spa pool, sunbeds, a small bar, and a seating area.
The Beach Club is another key exterior feature. It includes a transom garage with a dry dock for the main tender, which can also be converted into a 12-meter swimming pool. The starboard hull wall lowers to form a large sunning area with teak decking, swimming steps, and various seating options. A fully stocked bar is located just inside, providing easy access to refreshments.
Pegasus VIII's decks are lined with teak, offering a classic and practical surface. The entire hull and superstructure are painted white, creating a cohesive and clean look. The boot top and below the waterline areas are painted black, adding a touch of contrast and sophistication to the vessel’s overall aesthetic.
Interior Design
The interior design of Pegasus VIII features a sophisticated use of materials and a thoughtful layout that prioritizes both functionality and aesthetics. Upon entering from the main deck, visitors are greeted by a marble-floored lobby. This area provides access to the upper bridge deck and two air-powered sliding doors, which open either forward to the guest accommodation or aft.
Forward from the lobby, a small foyer presents a marble waterfall, illuminated with azure fiber optics, cascading into a pool on the owner's deck below. A scale model of the yacht is displayed here for orientation. A stairwell with fingerprint recognition descends to the owner's deck.
The main salon, accessible through a sliding door from the main lobby, is designed for casual conversation, reading, or relaxation. It features soft sofas and a fully equipped bar with polished granite tops and leather-upholstered bar stools. The salon also offers access to the aft deck via double sliding doors.
A cinema room adjacent to the salon includes 13 reclining armchairs with individual drink holders and a pantry for convenient service. The bridge deck houses the "winter garden," an informal salon with a bar, gaming table, lounging area, and a large plasma television screen. This space also features a carved granite water fountain and the yacht's characteristic off-white textured carpet.
The bridge deck dining room contains a long, formal 14-seater table with an opaque glass center panel. Air-powered doors can open the aft wall to transform the dining area into an alfresco space. Forward from the bridge deck lobby is a beauty salon with hairstyling and tanning facilities, and a playroom for the owner's young son.
Throughout the yacht, materials such as walnut, cherrywood, Thai silk, lacquered Tanganika nut wood, and Mon marble are used. The design incorporates off-white Tai Ping carpeting with a water ripple design, off-white textured carpets, and various types of polished granite. The furniture includes leather-upholstered bar stools, soft sofas, and chairs, low glass-topped drinks tables, and custom cabinets housing Swarovski crystal drinking glasses.
