Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.2m beam and a 2.29m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 395 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2000. Launched in August 2007 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in September 2007.
Exterior Design
Calliope's outdoor spaces have been thoughtfully arranged to offer a variety of experiences. The sundeck is a notable feature, equipped with a dayhead and a 60-jet whirlpool, providing an ideal setting for relaxation and entertainment. The bar area, complete with comfortable stools, wraps around the whirlpool, creating a social hub for guests. For additional comfort, a fiberglass sunroof offers shade from the sun.
The yacht's extended swim platform is designed for easy access to the water, enhancing the enjoyment of water activities. It leads to a large lazarette that houses an array of water toys, a dive compressor, and storage for dive tanks, facilitating a range of aquatic adventures.
Al fresco dining is available on the aft of the main salon and sky lounge, both shaded and equipped with TV and music systems for a complete outdoor living experience. The main deck aft features a full bar and a sunbathing area on the bridge deck aft, further accentuating the yacht's capacity for hosting and leisure.
The exterior's decor, characterized by a red, white, and blue color scheme with yellow accents and quality teak furniture, upholds traditional yachting values. This is complemented by custom-made sun loungers on the aft deck that offer expansive views of the sea.
For the storage and deployment of tenders and toys, Calliope is outfitted with a robust 2,500 lb. Steelhead telescopic davit system located on the sundeck aft. This functional aspect of the yacht's design ensures the seamless integration of adventure and exploration into the cruising experience.
Interior Design
Calliope is a showcase of fine craftsmanship and practical luxury. The design, conceptualized by Pavlik Yacht Design, features rich mahogany veneer joinery with burl inlays.
The main salon is a well-appointed space, with two sofas and an ottoman providing comfortable seating for guests. The division between the salon and the formal dining area is an entertainment center, which includes a fixed Samsung 58" plasma TV and a range of multimedia equipment for guest enjoyment.
The dining area itself is anchored by a mahogany table with insets, capable of accommodating up to 10 guests. The surrounding Sapele and Pomele woodwork is complemented by custom storage for china, crystal, and stemware. Crown molding and a central chandelier enhance the sophistication of the space.
Lighting throughout Calliope is carefully considered, with ambient and accent fixtures designed to create the right mood for any occasion. The presence of large windows allows for ample natural light during the day, enhancing the interior's open and airy feel.
The helm, or pilothouse, is a state-of-the-art command center with a functional layout. It includes a leather settee, a teak-topped table, and a navigation work desk. The space is further defined by its practicality, featuring chart storage, a Captain's chair, and comprehensive navigation equipment.
The galley is equipped with Subzero and GE appliances, set against a backdrop of silver cabinets and granite countertops. A beige granite floor complements the overall palette, while an island in the center provides additional workspace and storage. The galley also features a dinette on the port side, offering an informal dining option for guests or crew.
Accommodation
Configured to house either five or six staterooms, Calliope ensures comfort and privacy for all on board. The utilization of the captain's cabin as additional guest quarters highlights the yacht's adaptability to guest requirements.
Central to the yacht's accommodation is the full-beam owner's cabin, situated on the main deck. This stateroom stands out with two distinct bathrooms and an adjoining gym-office space, a notable feature for a yacht of Calliope's dimensions.
Below deck, Calliope houses four guest staterooms. These include two VIP staterooms with queen-sized berths and two twin staterooms, each thoughtfully appointed with its own ensuite bathroom.
For larger parties, Calliope can sleep up to 12 guests when all six staterooms are utilized. This flexibility in guest accommodation makes Calliope an ideal choice for various group sizes, ensuring that every stay aboard is a personalized experience.
Attention to crew needs is also evident with four or five crew cabins, providing lodgings for up to nine crew members. Each cabin is equipped with ensuite facilities, ensuring the crew's comfort and ability to maintain the highest standards of service.

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32) 1,798hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Calliope is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 42,771 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,300 nautical miles.
