The 27.3m expedition yacht Project Ocean was delivered to her owners in 2024 by Arksen Yachts. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Rob Humphreys, while Design Unlimited is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 7.01m beam and a 1.55m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 125 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the Arksen 85 design.
Accommodation
Project Ocean offers accommodation for up to 6 guests in 3 suites comprising an owners cabin and 2 cabins that can operate as twins or doubles. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Motor yacht Project Ocean is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 18,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 7,000 nautical miles at 9 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
