Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 10m beam and a 2.35m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 827 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the Silver Series design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

Rabdan features a raked bow, enhancing its hydrodynamic profile and ensuring smooth navigation through various sea conditions. Both the hull and superstructure are constructed from durable aluminum, providing strength and longevity. The exterior design includes a grey-hued hull paired with a white superstructure, creating a clean and contemporary aesthetic. The boot top and below-the-waterline areas are finished in black, adding a subtle contrast to the overall color scheme. The deck, crafted from high-quality teak, offers both durability and a classic nautical appearance.

Rabdan’s exterior features a large aft deck, accessible from the main saloon through a cinema room. This area includes an 18-seat dining table and ample casual seating, making it suitable for both formal dining and relaxed social gatherings. The main-deck sunpad, a versatile structure, serves as a sunbathing area, dance floor, and helicopter landing pad, providing multifunctional use of space.

The bow area houses two custom-made 7.7-meter tenders and two jet-skis, stored in an enclosed bay. The tenders are launched through side doors that open in a manner similar to the Gullwing Mercedes, demonstrating the builders' proficiency in working with the hull's complex curves. The tender bay is equipped with gantry cranes for launching and also doubles as a recreation area for the crew, offering an open yet protected space.

The transom opens to reveal the Beach Club, a key entertainment area close to the water. This space includes a sunken bar, sauna, gymnasium, and necessary audio-visual equipment, providing a comprehensive setting for leisure activities. The broad deck with built-in seating serves as an ideal platform for swimming.

The upper foredeck offers another lounging and dining area, with banquette seating for 24 and four adjustable tables that can be configured for dining or as additional sunpads. The sun deck features sunpads at both ends and a double-sided bar in the middle, with one side adorned with aluminium slivers to create a water-like effect.

Interior Design

Rabdan's interior design incorporates a blend of modernity and functionality, using veneered aluminium honeycomb to save weight. This material choice reflects a commitment to both aesthetics and practicality. The design was executed by Danilo Silvestrin and manufactured by FMCA of Brisbane, Australia.

The main saloon provides a comfortable lounge area with deep sofas and lounge seating for 12. Adjacent to this is a dining table that accommodates 18 guests. The storage space in this area is extensive, demonstrating a practical approach to design.

The main deck includes a cinema room, providing an entertainment space that leads into the main saloon and dining area. Both spaces are decorated in a modern style, ensuring a cohesive look throughout the yacht.

Accommodation

Rabdan offers accommodation for up to 18 guests across seven cabins. On the main deck, three VIP suites feature king-sized beds, desks, and en-suite shower rooms. The lower deck houses two double cabins and two twin cabins, each equipped with its own shower room.

The owner’s suite is located between the main deck and the sun deck, providing a private saloon that opens to the outside. The master cabin offers forward views through raked-back windows and includes a leather sunbed positioned for leisure. A passageway lined with wardrobes leads to his-and-hers en suites, one featuring a bath and the other a steam shower.

She is also capable of carrying up to 16 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. The lower deck contains eight cabins for the crew, along with a galley and mess area. The captain's cabin, radio room, and computer room are situated on the bridge level, which also has stairs leading down to the crew entrance and galley on the main deck.

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M71) 16-cylinder 3,303hp engines, motor yacht Rabdan is capable of reaching a top speed of 27 knots, and comfortably cruises at 25 knots.
