Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.7m beam and a 2.5m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 434 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the 42M design.
Exterior Design
The Sirena 42M’s design strikes a confident balance between elegance and utility, underscored by its steel hull and lightweight aluminium superstructure. A plumb bow, high bulwarks, and a soft curve along the shearline establish its strong identity, while elongated openings in the vertical bow lend visual intrigue to the yacht’s profile. The black bootstrap along the waterline contrasts with the silver hull and superstructure, reinforcing the clean horizontal lines that define her form.
At the bow, a multifunctional foredeck manages anchoring operations and tender stowage with the help of a launching crane, all neatly integrated into a teak-laid platform. Aft of this, the foredeck transforms into a private oasis - a sunken patio accessible directly from the owner’s suite (when positioned forward). This secluded space features a plunge pool (optional), shaded pergola, soft seating, and lush greenery. A curved staircase connects this patio to the upper deck, while a strip of glazing subtly divides levels without interrupting the flow of light.
Aft, the stern is structured across tiered decks, where fold-down bulwarks create an expansive beach club feel flanking a central pool. A transparent glass transom intensifies the connection to the sea from the bathing platform. From here, short staircases lead guests through the pool deck and into the shaded main deck lounge. Open-tread stairs run starboard from the main to upper decks and port from the upper to the sun deck, enabling easy access across all levels.
At the top, the sun deck is designed for enjoyment and views. Freestanding furniture at the aft end provides a relaxed vantage point, complemented by forward sun pads. The radar mast supports a canopy that shades a generous dining area and a side-facing lounge. This open flybridge, together with the pool, beach club, and adaptable social spaces, creates an exterior layout geared towards a new generation of owners - active, curious, and looking for immersive experiences on board.
Interior Design
The Sirena 42M’s interiors reflect a fresh, highly adaptable design language created by Hot Lab in collaboration with Luca Vallebona. Thoughtful use of curves, clean geometry, and natural light shape an environment that is quietly luxurious and engaging without excess. There’s a conscious contrast between warm, organic textures and cool, high-spec finishes - from natural beech and oak to titanium-effect metals, cotton, and chenille upholstery. A desaturated, light colour palette welcomes sunlight into every corner, amplified by the extensive glazing throughout the yacht.
This refined yet approachable style blends Nordic clarity with the ease of Mediterranean comfort. Indoor plants, textured surfaces, and a mix of curved and linear forms create spaces that feel lively and composed in equal measure. The design avoids repetition without straying into overstatement - lounges recall the cabins, bathrooms reference the living areas, and a cohesive style runs through every zone, despite subtle updates in each space.
The main deck is anchored by an aft saloon, a lounge-oriented space that flows toward the exterior pool area, just a few steps down. Large windows and minimal structural pillars maximise panoramic views and reinforce the connection with the surroundings. Forward of this area, owners can opt for a formal dining area or a more relaxed alternative. A second intimate space to starboard of the main staircase offers the potential for a studio, sitting room, or games lounge.
Even transitional areas have been thoughtfully handled. The main deck corridor leading to the owner’s suite, for example, features a concave wall and sculptural staircase, creating a sense of occasion before guests arrive at the principal cabin.
All styling and configuration options have been developed to maintain harmony with the yacht’s underlying engineering. While each layout is highly customisable, the core design ensures cohesive structural logic and efficiency in build, helping Sirena deliver a truly bespoke feel with consistent technical execution.
Accommodation
The Sirena 42M accommodates up to 10 guests across five suites, with the owner’s cabin able to be positioned either forward on the main deck or on the upper deck, depending on preference. When placed forward, the suite opens directly onto a deeply private patio carved into the foredeck. With an optional jacuzzi, layered planting, and flowing lines, this terrace creates a peaceful garden-like retreat.
The remaining four guest cabins are located on the lower deck. These include two VIP cabins with transverse beds, separated by wardrobe-partition walls that increase space efficiency while ensuring privacy. All guest suites are ensuite, with bathrooms positioned to buffer noise from the aft technical areas such as the garage and engine room. Acoustic insulation has been carefully considered throughout.
Across the interiors, curved forms, flowing lines, and dynamic walls ensure that each cabin maintains its own character without straying from the overall design ethos. Every room balances clarity with warmth, creating spaces that are as restful as they are refined.
Crew accommodation supports up to nine members, enabling full-service operations without compromising guest privacy or comfort. Circulation routes and service areas have been carefully planned to ensure discreet movement and operational ease for the crew.
