Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.1m beam and a 1.6m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 106 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Tortuga presents a straightforward and purposeful exterior design. The yacht features a white hull and superstructure, accentuated by a black boot top, giving it a clean and crisp appearance. The raked bow contributes to its sleek profile, while the wrap-around tinted windows on both upper decks ensure a modern look as well as privacy for those on board.
The upper aft deck accommodates the tender, while under this deck, the cockpit features an alfresco dining area. Side decks with safe guardrails lead to a foredeck sunbathing space.
Interior Design
The interior design of the yacht Tortuga is focused on functionality and comfort, featuring a fresh and modernized layout. The materials used throughout the yacht contribute to a sophisticated yet understated atmosphere, with an emphasis on quality and durability.
The galley is located on the port side of the main deck, equipped with high-end appliances and ample counter space, ideal for meal preparation and hosting. The country kitchen-style dining area at the forward end of the main deck provides a casual yet welcoming space for dining, complete with direct access to the side deck.
In the sky lounge and flybridge, the design maximizes space and functionality. The helm station is positioned forward on the centerline, ensuring all engine controls, gauges, and electronics are within easy reach. This area is fully enclosed and air-conditioned, offering a comfortable environment for navigation. Ample seating is available, including a large sofa to port and lounge chairs to starboard, providing relaxation options for all guests.
The sky lounge also serves as an entertainment hub, equipped with a TV, stereo, BBQ grill, bar, and ice maker. This area is designed to accommodate 8-10 guests, offering panoramic 360-degree views while cruising. The flybridge's setup ensures that guests can enjoy their time aboard with convenience and comfort.
Accommodation
The yacht Tortuga provides accommodation for up to seven guests across three well-appointed staterooms. The master cabin, situated aft, is a full-beam suite offering a king-sized bed set on the centerline. It includes large hanging lockers, a starboard seating area, and a vanity desk to port. The master cabin also features an ensuite head located forward to port.
In addition to the master suite, the lower guest area comprises two more staterooms. The portside guest cabin is equipped with a queen-sized bed, generous storage options, and an ensuite head. This cabin also provides direct access to the engine room. The starboard guest stateroom features two single berths and a pullman-style berth on the inboard bulkhead, along with ample storage and an ensuite head. This twin cabin can be converted to a king-sized configuration, offering flexibility in guest accommodation.
The crew area is designed to ensure efficiency and comfort, with two forward cabins each fitted with upper and lower single berths. An enclosed head is located to starboard. The crew lounge, positioned to port, includes a microwave, laundry equipment, and a table with seating. Additional features include a chilled wine cabinet and refrigerated drawers in the companionway leading to the guest cabins.
